My personal satisfaction meter tilts towards the Happy side of the gauge: can't wait to get Ironstone, Hasta, and Chlorine Blue Nike sport bands.

As much as I love sport loops I'm waiting on Abyss & Sea Salt. They didn't grab me right away, so I'll save the $100 for now. Bummed there were no new Nike sport loops :confused: BUT all in all, it's glass half-full for me.

Well, I'll probably get the sunflower sport loop - I have canary that I don't wear much because I love it but I don't want it to get dirty. But I was hoping for a bright saturated yellow in a sport band, so I could wear it without worrying about it getting dirty.
 
The new bands are kinda meh for me. I guess they used up all the pretty colors for the new iMacs and the purple iPhone. 😑

Rather underwhelming honestly. Chlorine Blue is gorgeous if you don't already have Gamma. Sad the Nike loops appear to be going away. If Mallard is like Dark teal that would be nice but have to see that one in person, right now it just looks like yet another black-looking dark green. Pistachio is really nice, the braided in that looks very good.

Why couldn't we have had an Amethyst band? 😩

Also, maybe bestbuy will put the discounted colors on sale, and I could pick up a ginger, vitamin C, or even a purple pulse for less.
 
Interestingly on the iPhone side, the leather case only got one new colour, Deep Violet. I’m guessing a chalk white iPhone case would patina horribly. The Leather Wallet got “Arizona“ which looked almost the same as the Saddle Brown.

Seems with this release, theres a bit of disconnect between accessory materials - some colours are exclusively available with one type of acccesory even if others are made of the same material (eg Solo Loop has Tomales Blue, Sport Band has Capri, Leather Link has Chalk, iPhone Leather Case has Deep Violet, iPhone Silicone Case has Amethyst and so on)

Mallard I'm gonna wait and see if there are any deals. The Nike Sports rarely have sales, so I went ahead and picked up all three of the new ones. Mallard and Cantaloupe are the only sport bands I care about but they're not 'oh I can't live without these'.
 
One observation: unlike last year, all Winter bands and a good chunk of the Fall bands (except for the braided and leather lines) are now discontinued. Once again makes me think that the Fall/Winter 2019 bands sticking around all year was mainly due to Apple trying to clear out stock due to COVID. The recent fire sale prices on eBay also support this theory.
 
I see a lot that I like, im pleasantly pleased.

I ordered the Hermes Rose Mexico Attelage Double Tour

What i will order in the future are the Cantaloupe bands and the Electric Orange

I hope you’re right. The Nike Sport Loops are always the most interesting bands out of the releases. The Chlorine Blue/Glow Green would look amazing in a sport loop.

I agree. I have yet to see a sealed 44mm plum sport band on eBay, but I have seen the others. Hoping to score some good deals on the discontinued ones.

I think something that might also have to do with it is due to the Solo Loop and Braided Loops awkward selling model, ie, having 10 sizes, thats an awful lot of SKU’s, and therefore space taken up in Apple Stores to accomodate all of them in a reasonable quantity. It’s not like the classic model where its just watch size and colour.

The Deep Navy I think is safe for the rest of the S6’s days as the flagship Watch, they’ve used it everywhere in marketing promotions / images to pair up with the Blue Aluminium Watch, but I note Ginger for example is already a thing of the past now.
