I’m Olympics-obsessed—I will definitely be wearing mine all Olympics. Heck I made my own USA one out of Capri and red for Olympic trials this weekend.Same! I basically bought USA just to have for July 4th.

I really hope Sha’Carri rocks her Capri hair at some point 🙌🏽. Praying Apple TV gets the 4K feed on YouTube TVI’m Olympics-obsessed—I will definitely be wearing mine all Olympics. Heck I made my own USA one out of Capri and red for Olympic trials this weekend.
Yup! My USAs, DEN, SWE, JPN, MEX, and CAD have all charged as well and are prepping to ship. Only the back ordered ones, NZ x2 and Netherlands, haven’t. They’ll be here late next month/early August.Preparing to Ship! So Tim does remember how to do an instant band drop 😉
I find it funny the first band to sell out in the US was GBR and the first to back order in the UK is the USA.Not much love for these loops in UK so far. Plenty of stock available with expected delivery dates as soon as 3rd July. USA delivery slipped to 30 July onwards.
I am too, especially with track! Of course I cheer for the US but Jamaica is a huge fave of mine too so I was so excited to see that loop. There is a brand of beaded bracelets called Artiken that is popular with runners and they do flag designs - and Jamaica comes out in a few weeks! It will look great with this matching band.I’m Olympics-obsessed—I will definitely be wearing mine all Olympics. Heck I made my own USA one out of Capri and red for Olympic trials this weekend.
Am I the only one that finds the US band to be just…not quite right? Seems like the red and blue parts of the band should be switched. That prominent blue stripe with the small red accent does not make me think of the US flag…
I have definitely noticed this, too. Dark colors seem “stiffer“. Light colors, softer, more flexible.Speaking of bands "consistency", I have a pretty small OEM bands collection (less than 20), and these are the SB I purchaised in 2021: Delft Blue, Mallard Green, Pollen and Spearmint.
I do have noticed that they feel very different from each other: Pollen and Spearmint are pretty soft, velvety, heavy on the wrist, while Delft and Mallard are light, stiff, not velvety to the touch. I don't know if that depends of the production year (Pollen is older, Mallard is the newest collection) or, more likely, to the "tone": lighter colours feels softer and overall nicer, that's the pattern I've noticed. The white SB I received with my silver SS S5 is soft and velvety as well.
I'd like to ask if someone else has noticed this, and if some of the new, darker bands (like deep navy) feels the same way compared to some of the new light shades (like cantaloupe).
I do prefer the feel of the light colours, and it's a shame because I really like the deep, darker shades too. They just don't feel just as nice on the wrist, I don't know why.

Listen to your heart, not your wallet. Do it!Ugh. I can't believe they released 22 new sport loops.
I don't collect them all, but there are several that I like a lot.
My wallet is saying "don't do it"!!
No ETA on restock.
Winter Olympics are next FebruaryAll 22 sport loops still widely available in Australian Apple Store.
I'm not sure if I would wear any of them after the Olympics are finished in a month lol
My waking nightmare is that it’s via Deliver-It and when they abandon one of the boxes holding untold Tokyo loops like they did with my Jumping, there won’t be replacement stock from SupportCheck your UPS My Choice dashboards. 2 tracking numbers have already shown up for me, due for delivery Thursday.
