I also noticed across the entire Apple accessory lineup, including the Watch Bands, Saddle Brown has also quietly been retired… thats the end of an era, its been there since the iPhone 6s days (2015-16) in just about every leather accessory since, from iPhone cases to Leather Loops to iPad Leather Sleeves and the Leather Links.

What appears to be its direct replacement, Golden Brown, looking forward to seeing how it is!

I believe all new bands will be delivered on Friday 17 September at earliest. At least, that’s what the online store tells me.

I ordered the sport band of Marigold, English Lavender, Dark Cherry, Clover. Hopefully they will pair well with Stainless Steel Gold Series 5. The bands should be here Friday 9/17/21. I am hoping Dark Cherry is not the same shade as Plum sport band. Too bad I missed out on Size 8 44mm Electric Orange Braided Loop. I can't wait to order the Series 7.

Yup, but I suspect this is temporary, just like the continued sale of the S6 on Apples website is also a stopgap until the issues with the S7’s production are resolved and its available for purchase later this year, and then the S6 will definitively be retired. Because otherwise they’re selling both Midnight and Black Leather Links - they practically look the same.

It’s interesting if you buy an S6 now, it can still only be bought with last years bands and not any of the new ones…

The two "basic" Nike sport bands (Anthracite/Black and Pure Platinum/Black) which have been around forever have been updated to 41mm/45mm on the store. Which should mean all bands sold as 40/44 are just waiting for arrival of S7 and then get axed.

My Clover Sport Band just arrived, I’m not a professional photographer, so please excuse this photo but thought I’d do a quick comparison with Pine Green for you all. Pretty happy with it, very much a more “forest green” than Pine Green, oddly enough, and will probably replace it when I go for a green band.

The last new band I bought was Plum, and it’s definitely softer and less stiff than that one. Less “rubbery” for sure.

Yeah it looks gummy and nice. I wonder if every new sport band will have the same texture the way every s6 band was super matte and shine-prone.

Right off top, the new custom face colors are a godsend. No more settling with my pink punch sleep braid, and this is just a first attempt last night in the dark as I was passing out. Excuse the discoloration, I can only clean the thing so often.

And world time changes the text and such from black to white as you go to each extreme. Such a legit face.

Very nice - the new Clover does make Pine Green look somewhat drab in comparison

Just like the colour of the RED Watch is different, I wokld assume this is a new braided RED colour. Both Watch and strap look a little more pink-ish, I think.

The red braid doesn’t have a NEW tag though. And it kinda looks like the new red sport band (no solo loop!) conforms to the purply look of last year’s braid and the new red case.

Red Gen 5 for both sport band and sport loop, my word!
