My Clover Sport Band just arrived, I’m not a professional photographer, so please excuse this photo but thought I’d do a quick comparison with Pine Green for you all. Pretty happy with it, very much a more “forest green” than Pine Green, oddly enough, and will probably replace it when I go for a green band.

Looks amazing! Is this the green that everyone has been looking for? Not as bright as racing green or the Hermès Bambou though…

Can you do side by side comparison with other greens: pine green, mallard green, Cyprus green, forest green…

It‘s def good enough, especially given how muted the trend seems to be right now. What will spring bring? I can’t imagine they have another crazy rich blue in them like Capri and Surf. I’ve given up on “good yellow” (saturated canary/ginger). Are we assuming no winter bands? Maybe no solstice bands ever again?

Meh. Basically Cypress Green with less yellow.

Pine Green really is a sand green. Still a great color.

I guess with starlight replacing silver and midnight replacing space gray, the sport band pins no longer match the cases (with the exception of the silver SS and Hermès SBSS)?

Thank you for pointing out this detail. Makes it so much easier to compare the colors. It’s hard to tell if midnight is a very dark blue or actually black. I’m kind of disappointed they changed space gray and silver.

Haha. I kind of like it. It's like a notch up from Cantaloupe. I think this color might be easier to match my clothing than the English Lavender. But I want to see more pictures.

Ok maybe I spoke too soon re Red Braided Solo Loop. Unless they just decided to rev the hero image, it’s looking more like Red Sport Band Gen 4 from fall20.

Is there some weird Apple logic wherein they don’t wanna put a NEW badge on it because they had a Red already? Surely when they rebooted other colors they put NEW?

The watch face color picker on the phone when you have watchOS 8 installed is one of the worst interfaces I’ve ever seen. You have no idea what color you’re choosing until you exit out and scroll around!

Pulling up Bandbreite barely helps because there’s chronological inconsistencies, of course colors that didn’t get a face, and face colors that aren’t bands.

Alright, alright … my bands arrived. Christmas in September. 😊

First up English Lavender Solo Loop, pictured vis-a-vis Lavender Grey. It's everything I hoped for and just lovely.

Next up Dark Cherry Solo Loop with Plum (top) and Deep Navy (bottom). It's a little darker than anticipated, but still great.

Speaking of Dark Cherry, here it is in its Braided incarnation with Atlantic (top) and Charcoal (bottom). The texture of the braiding makes it look a little lighter than the Solo Loop, I guess.

Speaking of Braided Solo Loops, this is the highlight of the season for me: Maize is super, super lovely. Orangey, but not too much so. Perfect for fighting the fall/winter blues. 😊 Also pictured (and also still super, super lovely): Sunflower Classic Buckle and Pollen sport band.

As for the greens … I messed up and they will/may both go back. First off Sequoia Leather Link, which is really dark. Pictured vis-a-vis Black, I don't think I need both. I'll have to wait for some sunlight to see if the green pops more then, but right now I'm leaning towards sending it back. Or I might sell the black.

Clover, on the other hand, is (to me) the best mid-dark green we got, no contest; but I managed to order the wrong size Solo Loop. 🙄 So a send-back and a re-order is a-happening. Top to bottom: Sequoia, Cyprus, Clover, Khaki, Pine.

Thanks for this. Doesn't seem massively shorter than 44's.

Real shame the loop isn't other way around though, only one to two Nike logos stay visible so would make more sense to me to have the swoosh to be on the inner side and multiple visible Nike's on outside.

English Lavender, next to Lavender Gray in natural light, and in artificial light in my bathroom. Pretty, but still not as bright and saturated as I was hoping (especially in natural light).
