What?! This is the midnight band? Looks 100% blue on this picture.
I DO like that band, is it a new one or old vintage that one has to find on special sites?
It’s super new and everyone is dumping them for cheap on eBay from their s7 purchase…ditto clover. It’s the default band for the aluminum watch of the same color. I’m guessing you’re a 45mm because most people seem to be, but here’s a great example, half price, 41mm:
Some people are also just listing them as black, so if you look carefully, there’s even more supply than meets the eye. Also seeing the 41/45mm labeling is a giveaway that it’s not black or midnight blue.

With all apologies to black sport loop, Tornado/Gray is the best neutral sport loop yet (from the normal collection). When the light hits the almost-Inverness accent, it really zings, like Crystal hot sauce on a chicken wing.

What color the dark stripe is exactly, on the second shot it seems to have blue tint? Lugs look midnight in both pictures, are they?
The lugs are not midnight, though it seems like they would be. Tornado seems to be a desaturated midnight. Definitely lighter than charcoal.

Starlight and Dark Cherry are my two favorite band colors right now.
Starlight shouldn’t hit so hard, especially because I have a Stone2 with gold pin (negating the ‘ugh silver pin’ argument) but it’s just pure smooth uninterrupted putty goodness.

The band you posted is not the same that came with my AW7 Midnight/Midnight band. The one I have looks exactly like @heyyitssusan’s.
I think even the eBay postings you showed are the grayish “midnight” and not the blue midnight.

My S6 natural titanium has about half the wear in a similar pattern. I keep it in my pocket with a sport loop attached while at work and I think the nylon gives little microabrasions. I must say…I’m a little disappointed at the lack of the finish’s resilience. I may go back to SS next time.
A good rule of thumb is to remember bands look different in different lighting environments. Pretty sure there’s just one Midnight sport band with graphite pin that is selling a la carte or with midnight watches. Not sure which my seller got, but have to assume with a watch.
