Ive looked many times for quality knock offs…… it seams any 3rd party bands that are half decent are still higher priced. I’ve had good luck with Nomad bands and the carbon fibre link bracelet from Pitaka is outstanding… still pricey though. The rest of my bands are 1st party. They may seem expensive….. but they hold their value being compatible with all other generations. That is until the day comes that apple changes the lug connection (BLASPHEMY!)….. I along with everyone here likely dreads the day it ever happens. I was 50/50 that change was happening this generation, but it seams we’ve lucked out for another year. I’m going to now go find some wood to knock on 3 times…. 😬trying to find band alternatives but no luck so far. leather or cheaper milanese okay. for 45mm looking at etsy amazons
I’ve had black, graphite & silver stainless along with black Ti in past years…. gotta say though, two weeks into the Natural Ti and I believe this is my favourite of them all.Interesting. I think the SS shows more scratches over time. I have Series 5 Ti and it has similar wear as photo but to me its a natural patina that comes with the natural titanium. Apple could add the TLC coating as found on the black Ti but then we would lose the patina. I think Rene Ritchie had a detailed review on the Titanium in 2019. Anyway, there's something for everyone.

Wife hates it but I like. It’s very similar in color to a custom Panerai leather strap I used to own.
It’s a little too bright but tolerable for me.
Amazon AU is still selling discontinued leather links including Saddle Brown. Not sure about Amazon US.I just picked up a golden brown leather link band yesterday. It’s definitely a bit more orange than I’d prefer. I think I’d rather it be more brown, but I don’t dislike it. I’m debating between keeping it or looking for a saddle brown one, but it’s tough to find any saddle brown ones.
I’m wondering if it’ll look different over time.
Neither are in my book OMG i gotta have it…………like the Black leather link is.
Really need something in between or more of a cognac/mahogany
It’ll will be interesting to see how it wears over time….. I know someone with the California Poppy link…. his has not aged well… 😣Looking at these pictures, the saddle brown looks too dark to me. I think golden brown with a good patina would be great.
I’ve never experienced that before on any series…. I’d book your Genius Bar appointment or fire up the Apple Support app asap, before your warranty expires!I'm sorry if I'm off topic, but I trust this community so much that it has become like my tech family in the times of needs.
This is my series 5: a couples of days ago I started noticing tha "flashing" screen when it's "resting" in Always On, especially noticeable when in low light or in a dark room. Do you see it too?
It's still under warranty (two years of legal warranty here in EU) with Apple. Do you think it's a problem of my watch? Will they recognize it as such or brush it off like "it's natural with an always on display"? Do your series 5 do that too?
Thanks guys, sorry for the rant but I'm a little worried 🥵
To return on topic: the band I'm wearing is the Blue Jay modern buckle 🤗

I'd actually say the opposite -- VC should look best, of those 3 -- since Starlight is relatively warm and light in the same way. Either way, 3 very solid colours!3 new sports bands 🤩
- Vitamin C
- Cyprus Green
- Plum
I think the last two will look amazing with the Starlight S7 - the orange im not so sure 😂

I quite literally just came here to ask about white solo vs white gen 1/2. I’m hoping it’s closer to gen 1 but would rather find out before dropping $60 on one.Does anyone know if the black solo loop and white solo loop are the same as black Gen 2 sport band and white Gen 2 sport band?
I took that as a given and now I’m thinking that might not be the case…
It’s just so hard to tell without getting two new in box side by side. Even then, the bands don’t stay hermetically sealed in these boxes over a long time period. Perhaps we should just say “Apple meant for the black and white solo loops to be ’gen 2’ but silicone solo loops just never look the same.”I quite literally just came here to ask about white solo vs white gen 1/2. I’m hoping it’s closer to gen 1 but would rather find out before dropping $60 on one.
