Does anyone have spicy orange next to vitamin C? I am thinking of buying spicy but would REALLY appreciate this picture!

Au contraire, mon frer, Red Braid Deux lives up to my garish photographic reproduction. I’m happy to be wrong on this but I’ll need to see other people’s photos of it in similar conditions first…
Maybe it's boring and not artistically valuable, but.. I always try to get a white sheet of paper on the photo so that it can no longer be seen after the crop but can be used beforehand for correcting the white balance or the tonal correction. I like your photos and would have bought the Red Braided Loop instantly afterwards, but would actually be disappointed if it looked more red like in the photos of Cotpuppy. Schwierig…

We all know what the toilet bowl dock looks like, it’s pretty neutral. Don’t think it jumped too much here; I really don’t think I’m overselling the band, it’s quite exciting and candy-bright:

That is way more pink than it actually looks. Colors are way off:

Lol all this smack talk.. settle down and look at how “cool” the temperature of the sterilite plastic lid is. Hopefully it’s not your own image?

For what it’s worth, while I can’t speak to red2 (as I’ve yet to see it IRL), I can definitely say that the “red1” seen in your photo is not at all what red1 looks like. I would’ve returned mine if it looked muddy / murky like that.

Meanwhile, I’ve taken a leap on many straps based on how @athousandbands images portray them, and I have yet to feel mislead / disappointed. Further, I’ve definitely read posts from other folks that suggest the same experiences / outcomes. (Side note: it’d be fun to track the “sales” stats of the lot of us here )

It’s rather unfortunate to see such negativity in a thread meant for levity and community.

The band is more pink in real life to my eyes. It really surprised me with its brightness. Reminds me of red raspberry a bit.

Gen 5 Product Red Sport Band (current Gen) also has pinkish tones to it. Someone who recently acquired it and posted it, said it reminded them of Red Raspberry Sport Band as well. I have seen the Gen 5 PR Sport Band IRL and totally agree. I can’t speak for Braided Solos but the latest Product Red Sport Band definitely is more on the pink side.

Y‘all should also remind yourselves that different lighting conditions make many bands look really quite different. So if you‘re about to buy a band based just on a picture on the internet, you better try to find multiple other pictures to get a better idea of the „real“ shade(s) and/or find pictures of the new band together with similar older bands that you may already know/have. Which is why this very thread is extremely useful.

And do NOT trust any photos with any editing at all.
