I’d recommend that you get one size smaller for a braided solo loop. They should measure the same size, but they wear very differently. The braided solo loop is also very likely to stretch some over time.

Yes, while my solo loops are really tight at my wrist (size 9), the braided solo loop fits a little bit loosely.

It's strange, but that 1st gen green sport band looks awesome. Reminds me of Balenciaga apple green. This color is extremely hard to find and resell value is off the roof!

I am tempted to order the Midnight 2021 Sport Band but want to know how it compares with Deep Navy & GEN 1 Black with stainless steel pin. I also have the black with space gray pin that came with Series 3. I already have Abyss Blue Sport Band that came with my S7 SS GOLD 45MM Apple Watch.

I did like the Pride Braided Solo before, but always struggled to find the right watch face for it. Well, not anymore …

For one, I would say don’t order it full retail, it’s a default that people get with their watch and throw on resale sites for cheap, prob even outside the robust markets.
Here’s the quick shot I did when I got it. It’s about the same darkness as Black2 (which might have come with your series 3 depending on when you got it), but a little more blue. Not as blue/purple and not as saturated as the two midnight blues.
I need to compare to Deep Navy. I’m guessing similar to MidnightBlue1 where it ends up looking more green. Maybe you’ll end up being happy with just Abyss Blue since that’s less contrast with Gold SS.
I’ll add it to my “all the teals and dark blues” shot for sure. Today might be the day.
