I like the 6-series design. I think they're the sleekest looking iPhones we've seen thus far. But truth be told, the design is getting a bit stale after 2 years. I'm starting to really appreciate the designs of Android phones that have trimmed their top/bottom bezels and get larger displays into the same footprint as an iPhone. Just look at the Note 5 compared to the 6+/6s+.

*And how the heck did predictive text put in "bit" in place of "not" in my previous comment?!*

Predictive text, gotta love it!

The 6 series are just boring looking and don't get me started on the camera bump! Also, the curved screen is really annoying as you can't fit a proper screen protector! The 4 and 5 have been the best looking in my opinion... Each to their own though, all have different tastes.

You're kidding right... Design is a huge part of why people chose to get someone new. When you buy a car, do you not look for one that is aesthetically pleasing?
let's not start with the car analogies.
no doubt design has a crucial role at apple, but saying that the iP7 is just a revamped iP6 is silly. also, for what we know so far, the 8 may look identical to the 7 and just get updated internals.

i honestly don't think the design is going to change dramatically in the future as it happened until now, we're reaching the age of small refinements of a mature product, the huge leaps with every generation are a thing of the past.

Who's this everyone? The ones that have no interest in an iPhone anyway or those who can't afford it?
I'm not everyone so why misreprent me?

in apple's view you're doing it wrong, twice:
1- use a back cover (it's too slippery anyway)
2- do not use a screen protector (they are ugly, unnecessary, and interfere with capacitive touch)

in brackets are my own opinions.

1) I have a black leather Apple case on mine.
2) You try keeping an iPhone screen pristine when you have kids...

I jumped from the 5 to the 6 to the 6S and paid off my 6S back in January. If the rumors are true that the headphone jack is getting axed I will most certainly wait another year or two possibly before upgrading. As long iOS runs decent enough I don't see a compelling reason to upgrade again so soon. Of course I say this every year and Apple has a way of sucking me in but I feel like what I have is enough.

Apple just sold its billionth iPhone. I don't think anyone can speak on behalf of "everyone" with any degree of statistical significance.
