I'm trying to watch this now but the most striking thing about this one is the crackhead they put in charge of the music. The combination of ambient synth pad, detuned chiptune vox and doubletime disco beat at every break, is starting to make sense of some of Silicon Valley "culture", between micro-dosing acid all day, the awkward standing & power posing, aggressive praying gesturing etc, I'm no longer sure I'd want to be on the same spaceship as these people when we leave earth.

I miss the spontaneity and human connection of a live keynote in front of a real audience. These perfectly polished pre-made videos just feel like sterile advertisements, completely disconnected from reality.

Aggressive praying gesturing haha. Subliminally pleading with us to please buy the products.

I was really hoping for an update to the XDR Display $1000 monitor stand. Like new colors for only $200 more.

That’s not coming out of an iPhone event. Maybe there will be an October event with some extra stuff. Was there any rumors of this because I’ve never heard of an update to the display

I like the new Apple Watch reflections face.

I’m curious who’s watching these anymore when its reliable that you’re missing nothing and there’s nothing worth buying.

I used to religiously watch these and I stopped… IDK, 5 years ago? 8?

There used to be talk about the new products. People used to ask me about them. Nobody does anymore, because Apple doesn’t reveal anything anyone cares about anymore.

I feel like Cook has managed to make Apple about as significant as Toshiba or JCB. IDK.

Sleep Apnea, hearing test and aid … euhhh that’s it! Oh sorry yes a button on iPhone, oh! and usb c on headphones … I am so impressed

Lol. Come on, Apple. They’re really going to make us wait until the 20th anniversary iPhone to change the camera layout.

As sad as it seems, for photography and videography, this is the best lens arrangement possible.

There's a benefit for the lens to be as close as possible to each other, and they're also equidistant. You'll notice less when you switch lens, for instance if you do this during filming, or when you're just trying to get a shot. Switching lens during a macro shot for example can be very annoying.

I'm afraid the Pixel 9, as beautiful as it is, cannot handle that as well as the iPhone.

I hope this camera control button doesn’t prove to self to be a problem when I’m mounting it on my phone tripod which pinches the sides. Always had to make sure it doesn’t press the side button but now there’s another button I have to watch out for.

I’ve watched every year since they started streaming and have been to one in person. Apple reveals plenty that people care about, it’s just some people only care about a new look instead of internals. 4k ProRes appeals to me, definitely getting the 16 Pro Max. However for me personally I’ve bought every iPhone except for the 3GS, and 11 so I may be bias.

I watched (as I do every Apple presentation) and was pretty stoked. So much I'm happy to say I'll be one of the 600,000 people ordering a new iPhone (a 16 PM) this coming Friday. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Seems you'd be much happier and feel better purchasing phones and computers from a different manufacturer.

GREAT Keynote and all my wishes fulfilled.

Got myself a replacement form my trusty AW 4 Stainless Steel and a Active Noise Cancellation AirPods 4 without in ear tips - fantastic - cant bear these in ear inserts and thus an extreme welcome addition and super nice for traveling.

It was clear that the iPhones will not be great this year - the interesting iPhones will appear next year. Will get a new battery for my 14 Pro and be happy for the coming year.

Mission completed - MACs will probably appear in late October or November and my maxed out M1 MAX still does the job fantastic - no replacement foreseeable for me yet independently from the performance of a new MacBook Pro with M4 MAX any time soon.

Apple produces their devices too good these days - my iPad Pro also lasted in daily use for six years - and it still gets updates and will continue to serve me well as a Man Cave media center.
