I got confused by the title of the article where it says "everything new in iOS 13.2 beta 2 - delete apps from home screen" That's why i was so perplexed about it in the first place.

Oh, You‘re right that’s sure will confuse me as well if I haven’t use iPhone for a long time. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Likewise, features like Siri (when the 4s first came out) also locked out older hardware for little reason.

Sometimes there are reasons, just perhaps ones that some people might disagree with for one reason or another.
