I installed PB1 for this reason alone, and let me tell you any bugs I've come across are nothing in comparison to the robo calls.

Though I honestly expected to not have any kind of notification when a call was blocked, or maybe a section in settings where I could review any numbers that didn't make the cut, but it doesn't perform that way. If you didn't know, your phone doesn't ring of course, but the display lights up to say "Missed call". Not a big deal if your phone sits in your pocked all day but sometimes if I have it on my desk at work I'll see it light up and curiosity gets the best of me.

You should be able to turn off the notification for the missed call. I haven't tried, but now I'm going to have to try to see...

Not sure if this is new.
In the messages app when at the initial page when looking at all of your messages. You can long hold on a group chat and it will show you a list of those in the group chat, when you click on one of the contacts it will take you to that persons individual messages conversation or if there is more than one way of contacting them (phone number or email) it will display that information. So if you have a imessage with that person already going, it is a nice shortcut.

Update: Looks like they expanded it to cover the entire conversation line instead of just the contact icons on the left side.

It's from the live wallpapers for iPhone X but I couldn't find a way to download and move the video to my phone lol, so here's a picture

Looks like my bath needs a clean.

No. There are rumours though it will be removed from iPhone 11, not iOS 13.

yes, that i'm very well aware of, but several people here told me that there is no 3d touch in the ios13 betas. if that's not true - it makes me quite happy, as i'm intending to holding on to my xs at least until 2020 anyway.

I really hate the share sheet

How is it possible to "hate" a simple user interface? I hate my corrupt government in my case haha.

If users here would design the share sheet, it would look like this.

The two groups on the old share sheet, which I think were "apps" and "actions", were always confusing because a lot of my share actions were things like "copy to Dropbox" or "email with Spark" and it was never clear if those were "apps" or "actions", so I typically had to scroll through both lists. But now, with one horizontal list of icons and the other a vertical list of text, it's more inconsistent and even more difficult to find what I want.
Wait...this new way it's a lot clearer. The app icons are big and colorful so it feels like i'm literally sending content to the app while the actions list remind me of right clicking the content and perform some quick action with it.

As another introvert, I like this share sheet because it removes a step from sending something to my wife or daughter.
Exactly. Between holding the screenshot to get the share sheet and the share sheet itself, it is so much faster to send things.

Agreed. It kind of reminds me of iOS 8 when they tried to shoehorn contacts into the app switcher.
That I agree. Everything should be wiped out when a new version shows, and then they should reappear as you send things manually again.

Good to hear that. Some Apple Store Geek told me last week that it was terrible.
Please let me know how this new beta works for you. It's time to upgrade or I will not be able to get anything deployed on time.
I will also need to upgrade my Apple Watch 3 LTE.

I’ve been using it since beta 1 on my iPhone 8 Plus and had no issues that prevented it from being useable as normal. I did check out a list of incompatible apps and only found one that I hardly use anyway - always a good place to start. Minor interface glitches don’t bother me if they don’t impede on what I’m doing. For me personally the last iOS betas from 11 onwards have been very stable.

i use it all the time as a lot of other people do. it's not failed tech - it works wonderfully.

I ‘was’ totally with you on this. I about lost it when I heard something I use so much was getting the axe..... then I started using iOS 13 haptic touch. I have to say I absolutely love and prefer the new haptic touch over 3D Tocuh. I’m telling you, it’s just so much better. No more thought is going into how much pressure I have to apply. The haptic feedback is just so incredible and natural feeling now. It’s also far more responsive.

Did they really take iTunes out of this release or is it still renamed Apple TV place holder like in my release? Totally worthless software still locks me out.

I’m glad you said it. I can’t stand it.

WHY DOES APPLE INSIST ON BREAKING A PERFECTLY PRODUCTIVE UI? Who needs the share sheet!?!? I want that Shortcuts icon as they used to have for accessing anything on that share sheet.

The worst part: I need to re-setup share sheet with all of my primary apps in the order I want. No order was preserved when upgrading!!!

Is anyone else missing the “Open in Background” option in the Quick Actions sheet in Safari? The only option I see now is to “Open,” which will replace the current page with the new one instead of opening it in a new tab.

It will likely be back in a future release. There is no point removing “open in background” feature when iOS 13 is gearing towards replacing laptop for quite a few people.

Well all the apps that previously stopped working for me seem to work in this release. :) Need more time to see if Safari works better too.

And yes i know it's a beta and some stuff is bound to not work right yet. (Since people usually get defensive, as soon as you mention something not working in beta)
Did the Bluetooth issues get fixed? Especially with CarPlay? I noticed that there is some stuttering on carplay in the iOS 13 releases and it will forget the connection repeatedly where you need to force the connection.

I've just installed PB3 and I'm very pleased they've fixed that swiping bug that was introduced into PB2. It made closing apps or performing any other swipe actions very frustrating.

well i'm really glad to hear that, as if they fade it out, eventually i'll upgrade my phone and be left without it. i guess once 13 drops i'll start to get myself accustomed to it :)

It's also unpopular where cellular services are expensive and SMS messages are metered. If you have an iPhone and your friends do not, they aren't going to be happy to receive an SMS from you via iMessage.

So it's expected of Apple to design it the way they do, but it's certainly not the same tech culture in every corner of the globe.
Its impossible to receive a text via imessage.
It will just appear as a normal text on their phone, after the imessage has failed to send - if you have that feature enabled.

So they wont know the difference between your failed imessage text or a normal text..

Hi guys,

anyway to download the iOS 13 Public Beta 4 for iPhone XS?
I want to try it with but want to make a clean install wired to my Mac.

Thanks

What part of "its been stable enough since Beta 2" are you questioning?
[doublepost=1563399035][/doublepost]

Really? I wonder what your specifics are? I have had no crashes and no restarts 0, noddah! In fact the only issue I had was Wells Fargo couldn't handle FaceID, but everyone else including a tiny little Hawaiian Bank used it just fine. That was fixed BTW
[doublepost=1563399119][/doublepost]

its called "Block"
[doublepost=1563399228][/doublepost]

Either you haven't experienced it yet (cause it is awesome!), or you are a real retro guy. I hear most users of Android never update, so not everyone wants to
[doublepost=1563399325][/doublepost]

You know you can go to "Manage" and drag the order around?
My crashes in beta 4 came only after I was forced to reinstall from IPSW and reset all settings.
