Yep, it was the reverse of this in iOS 7, but in 8 it looked pretty bang on.

This is false. You may need to delete and re-add to your stack, but it's present.

Widgets now follow dark/light mode switching.

Most do. The Stocks widget refuses to believe in daylight. Well, to be more accurate, it's designed to be permanently dark but I'd still prefer it to have a light/white mode.

edit: figured it out. You have to delete the now blank widget, launch the weather app, and then go back into widgets and it will be a choice.

On this beta 3D Touch appears to have been deprecated in favour of Haptic Touch on my iPhone Xs. I can no longer press anywhere on the keyboard to move the cursor - only the spacebar.

Release notes say that 3D Touch has been temporarily disabled in this beta, it doesn't necessarily mean it has been deprecated.

Long pressing on the keyboard will initiate the cursor movement mode (via Haptic Touch) and then you can move around the whole keyboard to move the cursor.

ok figured out the weather issue. Delete the now "blank" widget, launch the weather app, and then you will see it as an option in the widget section.

Sorry to everyone on their phones who are missing the weather widget. I have a stack with loads of cities all working well. I guess Apple only released a set number of weather widgets and I'm using them all

What I would like to see is the ability to add a timer via siri or shortcut and have it play a sound or have an optional sound parameter. There is a weird / useless situation I have because I set my main timer in the clock app to "Stop Playing" because I listen to music or Pandora at night and want a timer to stop it. If you set a timer via siri or shortcut or any other method besides using the clock app, when the timer expires you get no notification since it uses the single play sound setting in the clock app. I always miss the timers I set unless I remember to go in and change it back to a sound.

I think the image aspect ratio options were there in iOS 13.

I just started the Weather app which made the widget work. No deleting necessary
