And what is the point of the small clock widget? It's almost identical to the Clock app icon, which already works live. I'm not sure I see the point other than they had to do something for the small size.

It’s nice to have time in another time zone at quick glance

Anyone else having a issue with their phones connecting to cellular data? Sometimes my phone just isn’t able to get data via cellular.

Bring back the iPod icon! Heck just make it an iPod player, and have Apple Music a separate app that can populate your library. The library should just be able to support local and remote media. Then you can have Spotify as a service and have it leverage the iPod interface.

Then other companies can send you feature requests to enhance it, and you just code it. Yes I'm talking to Apple directly.

The weather widget started working for me with no launching of the weather app or having to re-add it. It just eventually started updating again.

Wow...we get a new music icon.

Apple needs to:
1. redesign the notification center. It's ridiculous.
2. add haptic feedback to the keyboard, and make it possible to customize different intensities to your heart's content. It's crazy that you have no feedback whatsoever if you're typing and have the phone on mute. Those who are concerned with battery can just turn it off.
3. make it possible to adjust volume for independent apps and settings and not this general thing they're doing, forcing you to do it while the thing is being played, such as separate volume control for keyboard volume, music volume, ring volume, system volume.
4. add suggestions from the address book when you're dialing a phone number. Common now Apple.
5. make it possible to customize the texting app in every conceivable way. Font size, bubble size shape color.
6. make it possible to schedule a message to be sent at a certain time/date.
7. make it possible to move the icons anywhere you want to.
8. Use an OS-wide clipboard and make it not expire. You should be able to copy text now and paste it tomorrow if you want to.
9. Give us an option to NOT go to the next email but back to inbox after deleting an email.
Okay, i agree with a lot of this but you’re not going to get any of those things in iOS 14 so send your feedback to Apple and move on. 👍 Doesn’t do any good to keep spamming MacRumors with the same post.

Looks like the Weather widget has been removed in Beta 3. Too bad, actually liked that one.

Well, it didn't work too well when I used it. Wouldn't auto refresh and the daily forecast was severely broken.

To those wanting the Covid tracing thingy ...

Sure, many of us have installed the beta on our main/only phone but we're not meant to :) The OS is all in beta status, and it's too risky for Apple to activate something that really can't have any major bugs in it.

Perhaps, but it's a regression and will be fixed eventually, it's just a matter of when.
Everything else can have "major bugs" in it and still get's fixed.
We're in no position to determine how problematic this is to fix.

Someone mentioned that Apple would not dare touch it, since the implications of leaking private data was too great.
Could be, but I'm not so sure myself

It's not a regression, as iOS 14 never had it to start with. iOS 14 started internally way before the ExposureNotification API was started, and they built it into iOS 13, to test it. It will eventually be integrated into iOS 14 in later betas/GM. Things like this happen in development all over the world. It's happened in previous iOS releases too, when things were needed to be released sooner, so were included in a .X release, rather than an X. release.

Yes, I was having problems during beta 1 and 2 where it kept dropping to 3G and other issues.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

I did that whilst on B2 and it nearly fixed all issues, only had them rarely.

For B3, my internet worked for about 2 seconds then dropped off. Doing the reset didn't work. Weirdly, this may just be a coincidence but I connected my laptop to my phone via hotspot and it kicked into action.
I believe they've fixed some hotspot issues in B3, because some testing since has found that my laptop will locate and connect to the iPhone much more reliably. Maybe that's why connecting to hotspot helped?

I would have no idea, but I would imagine this would be rather isolated and with modular implementation you would be able to implement this fairly quickly and without affecting too much (this is a beta after all, so it will be tested)
Now, with the situation around the world as it is, wouldn't it make sense to get this implemented in iOS 14 sooner rather than later?
Still, it's a question of prioritization - it will appear eventually

Apple's internal builds are much further ahead than us, so they will already be testing it. All they have to do is regression testing after integrating it. I work with a large Dev team, so I know it's not as you think it is, to integrate it and test it.

The button in the Camera interface is the same as iOS 13. What about it is considered new?
