As if facebook really cares about that - they still have enough of the serum they need - app tracking or not. This is just a publicity stunt from FB and Apple - i wouldn’t even be surprised if it was kinda ordered from White House.I believe FB's Next Step AFTER this one will be offering Users two options:
1.) Agree to App Tracking, OR
2.) Pay us (i.e., FB or whoever) $4.99 USD or so per year to use the app.
Otherwise, I believe ALL of FB's apps, as well as most Popular Apps, will transition to become Trial Versions & that's ALL.
Once your 7 days OR so is up, it then becomes effectively Useless.
The valuations of ALL of the BIG Tech companies could take a 1/3 hit over this !
And it could play out for a year OR two.
I am gonna tell you a few "secrets"LOL, keep trying Zuck, your days are numbered by the amount of information the masses are given! Very few people will click "allow tracking" when FINALLY given the choice.
You really don't need "Facebook" in your life. You really don’t need a “Facebook app” on your phone.
Good, if people have to pay, then maybe they will see why the dopamine hit isn't worth being tracked and all of the negative consequences of allowing their lives to play out publicly on social media.I believe FB's Next Step AFTER this one will be offering Users two options:
1.) Agree to App Tracking, OR
2.) Pay us (i.e., FB or whoever) $4.99 USD or so per year to use the app.

That's a bit harsh. To the billions they use Facebook, at this point, you deserve to be data mined to death.
Probably because it's a political post and you haven't met the requirements to be able to reply to political posts. Why are comments off on the previous article about systemic racism?
If they want to drive people away, that's a good thing. The beast survives on attention; the less it gets, the weaker it becomes. Think MySpace, but on purpose.I usually hate OS updates but I can’t wait to click that big “hell no” button.
but chances are, if you don’t click allow tracking they will eventually start to remove features from you until you either subscribe or submit
Tell that to the Quest 2 which was a required purchase for some classes this semester. You really don't need "Facebook" in your life.
You obviously need better (privacy) laws.Tell that to the Quest 2 which was a required purchase for some classes this semester.
