I'm impressed by a lot of the posts on this forum and the feedback on the cases...
For the price I'm willing to get a vapor pro to have as an extra cover...The price difference is really incredible, honestly if the official vendor sold the case for $50 then I would buy from them, but I feel that $100 is waay too much...

From some of the names mentioned here to buy as a source, which of these four would you guys recommend and why...I'd really appreciate it thanks...
Safest vendor I would prefer and the most responsive should something not be right...

Here are the links that I found...

Jackie lin: http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/312505

Jackie nie : http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/903974

Cindy : http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/709207

Simon: http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/109029

In my experience, Jackie Nie has been good so far. I ordered 2 cases from that store a week ago and they are currently in New York. Throughout my order process he was very quick with responses and we had a very easy dialogue about getting my order correct and he was very accommodating. I have obviously not received them yet and will report on the quality when I receive them.

Simon has been reported as being non-responsive by a lot of people over the last week. Cindy has been on this thread helping people and those who have ordered from her have said that she has been great with customer support. She pulled cases from her store if she found the quality to be subpar so as to make sure that they are the best possible quality for customers.

I don't have anything to report on Jacky Lin.

It appears that they are no longer in the store. I ordered a Vapor 4 case that is on it's way for delivery and the page for that case is no longer available.

thanks for the quick reply. I wonder if they are just out of stock. Hopefully they will be back.

nice, when you get it, could you PM me what you think of it? or maybe create a new thread yourself?! cheers. I do like the look of it, looks much cleaner than the vapors.

I'll make a review for it and probably make a new thread for it since there hasnt been anything on these cases yet :)

i got a element vapor case from ebay ... how can i tell if its real or fake ? it came with the certificate of authenticity.... how can i tell ?

there must be a way to tell

----------

there are no typos

There probably isn't a way to tell except for the quality, and without having the real deal right next to it I'm sure you won't be able to tell. A good fake is probably just as convincing as the genuine. It's not like they put serial numbers on these things.

Like most knock-offs made in china, most of these things probably come out of the same plants as the real ones.

i have never seens a real one (maybe the one i bought is real)

can you guys tell ?

Fake - the way to tell a real and fake one is that the metal on the real ones are smoothly coated over and has lines going down (it's a texture) whereas the fakes are sandy/grainy texture. Now, the blackops is the only exception because it comes with a grainy texture from Element - however, with the black ops you can tell by looking at the "orange" piece on the case - Element's orange piece is really nice in color and rich - fake ones are clear or yellowish.

You should get a black back cover with the apple cut out, it would look sick.

Hopefully I will be getting mine tomorrow or the day after, since its already been dispatched from NY.

I have ordered a carbon fiber back plate and it is due to arrive sometime this week.

avoid this seller of the fake "white" vapor pro

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/103260755.html

the fitment and paint is far worse than the pictures and they offered no exchange when I opened a dispute for an exchange, no full refund, they offered a whopping $5.00 refund

oh well, it was $20 shipped for a bootleg vapor pro

should have gotten a different color :(

Continue with the dispute, message paypal with as much detail as possible and you will get the full refund.

I received my Black Ops from Jacky Nie and it is near perfect. Fitment was fine but I noticed very slight play in the corner with the plastic block.

I put a 1 inch section of a side protector on that corner hidden by the metal closest to the dock connector. This fixed the slight play and it is now perfect.

I haven't noticed any signal degradation over the weekend. This is on a Verizon iPhone 4.

I've seen a few people post about which shipping option they've chosen but for those who have placed orders, which seems to be more reliable of the free options? China Post or Hong Kong Post?
