just received my white Vapor Pro after 3 weeks. It is indeed loose, but it won't fall off the case at all. If I put cushion, then it should be okay.

In term of color, I like the white more than the silver one that I bought. However, the silver/silver is a much better fit since I don't need to do any modification.

For $20, I'm happy with it even though the fit is not as good as the silver/silver.

Again, if people are going to be picky in the fit, then please avoid buying the white one.

Knowingly selling a faulty product at a higher price? I would be ashamed of myself. Considering you have received a free replacement, you should have given it away, or at most, asked for the postage costs.

Dude it's not 100% defective. I installed it for the guy in person and he freely signed off on the deal. Settle down Pat Robertson.

Ordered 3 cases on Oct 31. Shipped on Nov 3. Received Monday of this week. All 3 cases are a 8-9 out of 10. Nice cases.
All were snug, not loose, but all 3 kill my gps, but I knew that when I ordered them.

According to USPS, it was delivered on the 5th but I just returned from a trip and finally had a chance to put it on my phone. I ordered a blue/silver with the black insert. As expected, the insert was the shorter version since that's what was shown on the listing.

I've read many reviews saying that the case was slightly loose but I seem to have the opposite problem. My case is too tight. The plastic insert slides out of the top aluminum piece a little when all the screws are tightened. There is absolutely no movement of the phone in the case. I've tried the case with and without the padding and its still too tight.

Other issues I have with the case is the blue aluminum has several scratches on the edges where a little bit of silver is showing through. The area where the two aluminum pieces meet up is slightly misaligned so you can feel a sharp edge when you run your finger on it. The black insert is showing scratches where the special screwdriver would scrape if you're not careful. I noticed this could happen and did not use the included screwdriver but there were already scratches there, indicating that someone had already used this piece.

I've emailed Jacky to see if anything can be done about the tightness of the case.

Received my 3 cases from jacky Nei, and all 3 were snug, but none looked as bad as yours did. I'm happy with them all. They are GPS killers though!

Update on White Vapor from Smiley Yang Store:

The White one I got did not fit properly as posted previously. I was able to resell it on craigslist for more than I paid and the Smiley Yang store offered to send my a Tiger Design Blade as a free replacement. The Blade case fits perfectly and is of absolutely amazing quality. I like the Blade case better because it is a little more low profile than the Vapor. I got two colors so I could mix and match. Not to hijack this Vapor thread but here are some pics.

It seems to be pretty much the same to me. I ran the Field Test before/during and after the install the signal strength did not fluctuate enough to really tell if it was due to the case or not.

Interesting. My vapor pro doesn't kill GPS at all. I notice no difference. I use GPS almost every day....

Do you have other complaints besides the slight movement from the case? Is it really really loose though? What about the color quality?

Does it degrade the signal? And does it fit the iphone 4s?

I wanted to share these with everyone since you've been helpful to me in picking these out. This one is for my wife, I'm waiting for my blue and silver from Jacky Nie.

I purchased this one from ioffer, he doesn't have another listed so no link. Thanks to the other guy who posted the pink luckylabs pictures for the inspiration. My wife wanted the green. Fit is a little loose like most have already stated. It doesn't rattle but you can move it up and down. The sleep button is a little tricky to press because the fit isn't snug. Also, the area where the plastic meets the metal is of poor craftsmanship. It looks like it will peel off.

Overall, for 30 bucks, can't complain and it looks nice.

After a couple of weeks, i'm not liking the feel of the case. It's too slick and am looking to sell it for. PM me for details if your interested

It's a glossy white, so I don't know if it's a new batch or not...

I spent the last 1 hour with a dremel, sandpaper, etc...sanding down the plastic where it touches the aluminum side piece....I was able to make it tighter than before...overall, the case is okay after modification.

You can definitely see the color white difference shade between the two pieces.

I DO NOT recommend the white at all...unless you know how to modify it. For the same price, just get the color one. I got the silver/silver and it's a great fit...also, it is anodized instead of the white paint..

the weird thing is that when I compare it with the silver and white...it is almost the same...so I can't figure out why the white would be loose while the silver is not...strange.

if you don't mind "losing" $20 if you can't sand it down, then give it a shot, but please don't blame the seller for selling you a loose case. I do feel bad for the seller, making $5 per sale.

Just a reminder: take the case off occasionally to clean it out and clean off the antenna band. I took mine off after 5 days and it had a fair amount of debris on it. The case itself hasn't scratched the antenna, though.

I ordered my case from Debay Int'l http://www.aliexpress.com/store/105...ited-Edition-case-for-iPhone-4-4G-IP-607.html. Before I ordered I chatted with Pecy Yang and requested pics to make sure I was going to get the right case. Pecy confirmed that they had the color combo I wanted and I proceeded to order a black/silver case on 11/3. According to the tracking info the case was shipped on 11/8 which I received on 11/14 (selected EMS shipping for $19 but should have went with free shipping option.) To my surprise the color combo was reversed instead of black/silver I got silver/black. At least the colors were what I wanted but I really wish I got the right combo, but oh well. I contacted Pecy and was told the quality of the case I was sent was good and I should just accept it since getting the right case would be the same cost as buying a whole new case. There was no way I was going to pay double for one case so I just decided to accept it as I knew there was chance this would happen. I must say the quality of the case is very good and the fit is nice and snug with no movement at all. At some point I'm going to shop for another seller that has the black/silver combo I want but for now I'm happy with this case.

a couple of friends of mine are on an asia trip in china and taiwan. i told them to look into picking me up a few aluminum cases (vapor pro, e13ctron, cleave/draco, etc.) and they said in both china and taiwan in the underground malls literally every vendor was selling these cases. however, they were all priced at around $30 USD and the sellers would not budge on the price.

If you order from the same seller you may have a better chance of the finish colors matching and then as a bonus you"ll have 4 cases to choose from by mixing them... Silver/Black, Black/Silver, Silver/Silver, and Black/Black. The seller should at least give you a break on the price of the second correct case.

I've been using my Vapor 4 case for a few days now and I've gotta say that the weakened reception is kind of becoming a deal breaker. Has anyone used Luck Labs wraps with a Vapor case and noticed improved reception?

Probably won't be much better. Mine wasn't. Probably selling the 3 cases I just received. GPS worthless, and phone signal too weak in certain areas.

Hmm. Not good news. Again, has anyone tried using something like a Lucky labs wrap to see if it makes any difference?
