My Vapor Pro Black ops case arrived today. It's superb quality, I've not found a single issue with it at all. The plastic section is clearer than the official, but that's what I wanted.

I got mine from Jacky Lin. Took no time at all to arrive. I may even order a second as a spare!

That was over a week ago. Tracking still says the same thing. Musta missed the boat. :D

I ordered 3 from Jacky Nie and they took just over 2 weeks ( 10 business days) . The tracking did not change at all until the day before delivery. Said still in china but was already here.

You will most likely get yours any day now. All 3 were good quality cases.

Guys do any of you know if the Trunket Wood back would fit with these cases...

I know it would be a unorthodox look, but something I'm considering...Tks...

That's good to hear.

It'll work.

I almost did it in Jet Black for my Pro Stealth but decided against it... I just can't get over that elephant on the back @.@

Hey guys
I've been lurking here for a while in this thread. I ended up purchasing a Vapor Pro White for $26 or so from Simon 4 days ago, since I'm excited about everyone's reviews! I'm still waiting for it.

However, lucky me! Originally I have a vapor 4 tactic case during the 50% discount sale at EC (before iP4s launch), which costed $60, but the case end up with paint defects (peeling). I had exchanged it and received a replacement case, but the peeling occurred again. Recently they discontinued the case so they gave me the option to exchange for a Vapor Pro instead ($60 for a Vapor Pro... why would I say no?:p). So yesterday I took the chance to e-mail with a rep and exchanged for a Vapor Pro White Edition :D(extra $20 for White edition). Like wow... fastest shipping ever, covered by EC, I got the case this morning, less than 24hrs shipping!
Mean time I'm waiting for my FAKE case, i'll share some pics of the REAL one.
I'll give a full comparison of both once I receive my order from Simon.

I want to get a white iPhone 4s just to get this case now. The real one of course. :D

Received my blue/silver vapor pro yesterday, and the fit is great. I've had no significant loss of signal/wifi/or gps. My only question is was this design made for the CDMA iPhone 4/4S? The cut out for the volume buttons is almost flush with the mute switch. They are not touching, so its still usable and looks great; but I was just curious about this.

Just purchased from Cindy. We've been chatting the last couple of days.

$20.77 SHIPPED via Paypal.

I ordered the orange/black vapor pro. I have a white 4S on backorder still from the 24th/premier, and cant wait to see what it looks like!

I will post pics of the case on my white 4S and my black 4 when it arrives.

did you ever recieve the case? curious how this looks as I'm hoping to find a deep rich orange colored case.

And why does the case come uneven, 2/3 orange on one side, 2/3 black on the other? not sure if it makes sense, and my Iphone is in the mail, but seems like they should just do 1/2 and 1/2, no?

Hey, so after reading through all 53 pages of this thread it seems that Jacky Lin has some consistently well fitted Vapor Pro Cases. I ordered a Silver/Silver (with clear RF insert) from him just now. I'll post a small review/pics of it when it get's here.

Also, I purchased a knock-off Vapor Pro in Black off Ebay for $60 a few weeks ago, not knowing about the better deals on AliExpress. However, the one I got off Ebay fits quite well and looks good too. I don't regret dropping $60 on a quality knock-off considering I ALMOST bought a genuine Vapor Comp for $100. I really like these inexpensive replicas though!

Here are some pics:

Any updates on a new white Vapor batch yet? I've been holding off on ordering one until the good quality ones come in :(

Why.... why did you take that picture with a pellet gun CapuletX? :p

Haha, because someone earlier in the thread took pictures of their Vapor knock off with a real Walther and I thought it looked really sweet. If I had a real gun I would have used that as a prop instead.

any one got Jacky Lin’s contact?

hey guys, I’ve been following this thread for a while and am about to take the plunge, thanks for the reviews and pics.

However, I’m trying to contact Jacky Lin from XunJinDa about shipping insurances, and aliexpress’s send message function just won’t let me send anything. Every time I press sent it says my message is not between 20-3000 english characters… so does any one who bought from Jacky before have their email address that I can contact them directly?

on the other hand, does any one have both the chroma and spectra from aliexpress? what’s the difference, besides the extra colours?

A real Element Silver Vapor Pro Spectra would have the same finish as the Silver Vapor COMP shown in this picture. Notice how the bright brushed finish matches the finish on the button. They are also offered in different bright anodized colors but the Ultrasuede back and ear piece would be black with a Spectra.

A real Element Silver Vapor Pro Chroma would have a bead blasted less glossy, flat satin anodized finish. Also offered in different colors but the Ultrasuede back would be colored to match the case color.

The Silver Vapor Pro Spectra that I got from Jacky Lin had a flat satin finish that look a lot more like spray paint than anodizing. There was also a slight mismatch from one case part to the other. Almost all of the Silver copies that I have seen in pictures appear to have the same finish.

When I asked Jacky Lin why the Spectra finish that I received appeared to be a satin Chroma finish, he told me that was the only Silver finish that they offer. Based on this, I would suspect that the only difference between a Chroma and Spectra copy would be the color of the Ultrasuede back and the Ear piece.

The quality and true color of the finishes appears to be one of the biggest differences between a real Element Case and a fake one.

Waiting on delivery of a Black Ops but have a question...does anyone know if the Black Ops backplate will fit on a 4s with PowerSupport front AND back protective film? My recently received Graft Leverage back plate fits only with a front film.

The Black Ops backplate is an adhesive stick on that is the same cut out size as the PowerSupport back protective film. The Black Ops backplate is also a stronger adhesive than the PowerSupport cling style, so you would have to remove that first.

Got it. Thanks for the quick response!

Think of it this way. $150 for 2 years for a real one versus $25 every two months for a fake which ends up to be $300 over 2 years. It makes more sense to pay for the real one. ;)

Why are you buying a fake one every two months? It's aluminum, it won't wear out. Worse case, the finish doesn't last and you could paint it yourself or strip it and have it anodized any color you want. Still way cheaper in the long run.

LOL...this fake one is gonna last me for 2+ years and then i'll throw it away when I get the iphone 5 with a new case LOL... Sorry, I'm not going to pay $150 + tax and shipping for 2 years and throw it away...that's about $75/year YIKES..and IT DOESN'T guarantee the front/back of the iphone from breaking during a drop. People should might as well pay $90 for 2 years warranty of drop damage instead :) That's a better investment if one is going to pay $150 for a case.

And like someone said, and trust me, we don't need to buy another fake one every month...not sure what gives you that idea from :)
