Crossover, one of the benefits of Crossover (vs Geoforce), is I can manage the local files. Since I have the latest version of FO4, I need to delete the creationclub addons that came with the last patch. I also removed some of the DLCs, so as not to get BOS quests in far harbor before I get to visit far harbor
This last play through, being sent to Far Harbor for radiant quests was annoying, before I was ready to spend a lot of time in Far Harbor. The fights up there are relatively intense as compared to the Commonwealth.

Yep, I learned early on to keep them uninstalled until such time that I want to do them. Truth be told, and I know this is heresy, but I never really enjoyed Far Harbor, I liked NukaWorld a lot more. With that said, because of that, Ive not done Far Harbor, so I'll dip my toe into that DLC from time time to time.

One of things that I like but I needed to get used too, was that as I level up, the enemies get harder, with Fallout 76, its less refined, enemies get harder in classes of level, i.e., level 1-15, level 25-50, etc. Being a live service game, the player has no upper threshold on their level, but enemies top out at 100.

Playing the FO4, takes more strategy, then wandering Appalachia in Fallout 76
