Just what I was gonna say. Not funny for a first watch, but oh so good when you've seen the others. :D
I thought it was a nice ;) to those who were laughing at the knee thing, but hoping they weren't going to just do the same thing again. And those of us who were annoyed at the high voice thing that went on for far too long the first time. Proof that he actually listens to his fans.

The best part was when Stewie went to do that high voice thing again about Brian's unfinished book and Brian smacked him. Or the part where Peter is holding his knee after he falls out of the jeep. Good times.

When I saw those two scenes referenced to in these jokes, I could not stop laughing.

We popped in the TUBA

I laughed so hard when I heard that, I nearly popped a blood vessel. Right up there with the Simpsons' "Two-Story Outhouse."

Brockman: Springfield's first two-story outhouse opened today.

<tv shows two outhouses on top of each other, two men enter>

<from bottom outhouse>Oh God! No!

"TAG Body Spray for Sick Cats"

:D

Haha, that was hilarious. My other favourite part was stewie talking brians unfinished book. i love he just gets smacked right away this time. :D.

Oh yea, I missed last nights episode so I watched it on my ipod on the way to school today, it was pretty cool.

Just a note, there are NO TREES that close to downtown Providence

Also, you'd never see Brown U. playing to a home crowd that big, unless they were laying a smackdown on URI.

Again.

I loved the reference to Snoopy Come Home :D
And to prove I have no life, the voice used for "Steven" (the professor) was Fred, at just above normal speed.

Last point, they aren't talking about Roger Williams National Memorial, which is 4.5 acres, and contains grass, and a few trees. I'd say it's the most dense forest in Providence itself ;). They were talking about this one. A tad bit bigger.

ITS PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!

haha... classic, classic. And the old man pedophile was so funny!

And the way for Stewie to like Peter... haha...

I'm in the middle of watching right now...this is one of the funniest episodes I've seen this year!! Peter and Stewie hosing off Lois and pushing her down the stairs was the funniest thing I've seen all day :)

The Little Shop of Horrors reference was great too

Good to see the 'ol Bridges of Madison County still remains in the public mind (even if that wasn't the right bridge :p).

These recent shows are eliciting more "WTF?!" moments than ever before.

So, how long before an MR Member has the Peanut Butter Jelly Time dance as their avatar? ;)

YES! I love WTF moments!!! That's what makes family guy so good. Me and my friends laugh the hardest at wtf moments.

I can't wait to see the episode tonight, you guys are making it sound really good.

haha

great episode!

they really capped on Disney... and the michael jackson bit was pretty funny.... but when the kid said "he looks like hes really coming at me!" my dirty mind thought they were going to go another route.

stewie was again hilarious

Halle Berry's Wild Ride was amusing too!

And being a Floridian, I particularly appreciated Stewie's line about Florida being "God's Waiting Room," and how "right now somewhere in this state, Jeb Bush is eating a live puppy." :D

I liked the part when Peter left Stewie in the car in the parking lot, andthese people walk by and say "Oh my god! Is that a baby in that car.......he's gonna miss the game!" :D

Soundwave moves in. And the extended "Temple of Doom" sequence.

That's the second Transformers reference I can remember. There was another where Optimus Prime walks in and puts on a yamulke. I also recently saw one that Cobra Commander in it.

Sometimes I think that, in addition to all the chances the show takes, what appeals to me is that Seth MacFarlane is clearly about the same age as me and most of the '80s references hit me right in the gut. Stuff I haven't thought about in years is suddenly funny again.

Ah, yes. *Eisner reaches for Peter's heart* "Kali Ma! Kali Ma!"
Great! :D

I was thinking that too. Perhaps I'm just too young, but it's great to get through a set of those gag references and say, "hey! I fully got all of those!"

There are some parts of the show that no one outside Rhode Island will get, and others that any native Ro' Dylinduh will notice are just wrong. Like Lois' accent. It's from Cranston, but she's (presumably) from Newport. Except I don't think anyone lives in the "summer cottages" anymore. They don't say "wicked" enough, and now that Narragansett Ale is being brewed again, I'd love to see a fight between Pawtucket Pat and someone from the 'gansett brewery.
