Being that new seasons normally start in September, I've heard that fox considers September to now season 5. So Vol 3 is all of season 4.xli_ne said:So volume 3 on DVD is just half of season 4?

I know that sometimes they've actually gotten the help of those they're making fun of... for example, the time Lois praised Peter for his use of topical humor like on Murphy Brown, and then they cut to a vignette of Murphy Brown complete with the actual voices of Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, and Charles Kimbrough. And of course they have Adam West playing himself as a bit of a weirdo as the mayor of Quahog.2nyRiggz said:that part about John Goodman was funny as hell....do u think they watch the show? i like john but i know that would make him pissed

i just put that on my ipod~Shard~ said:Depends if you go off tv.com or not. Technically, Peter's Got Woods was the first episode of Season 5,

That entire scene was a rip-off of the scene from The Empire Strikes Back where Admiral Piett sees Darth Vader's helmet being lowered back onto his head as he sits inside his "pod" aboard the Executioner.MattG said:Can someone please explain to me the relevance of the part in the beginning, when Chris' head is being attached by a machine, and he walks out of the bathroom past Meg who thinks nothing of it?

I would have to agree completely.QCassidy352 said:I think they've gone too far. Family Guy has always pushed the envelope, but Stewie (twice) savagely beating Brian for extended periods was too much for me. They're trying so hard for that shock value that they've really crossed a line.
oh, and that song sequence on the football field? about 5x too long.
Only when it works.~Shard~ said:Yeah, I liked the Tome as well, but am happy with how tv.com has worked out too...![]()
