Yes I am. Ship 'em here. ;)

I am truly amazed at how long they have lasted at my house, I've had lots of "BBQs" and kick-backs and several cases of Miller Lite have come and gone and still no one has even touched these Dos Equis Ambers ... I on the other hand, am very picky with my beer. Newcastle, Guinness, Hef, Stella Artois are my go to guys ( or Gal in the instance of Stella ;) )

I'd get rid of your friends. :)

My go-to 6 pack when I'm wandering around the store:

I can't believe nobody has stepped up to represent the greatest beer in all the land. . . You know the one, its a loaf of bread in a mug and a meal unto itself

Honestly, though, depending on my mood my favorite beer changes. Damn, I love beer! Bout to grab a Guinness 250th Anniversary brew.

Just because we didn't post a picture of it doesn't mean we didn't proclaim the Kingdom of Black Beauty. Everyone knows that Guinness is, and will always be king, even if you don't like it... It's still king...

Kinda like Barack Obama. ;)

A true Aussie!

Compared to many other beers, it doesn't have that many calories, you know. ;) The whole 'Meal in a glass' aspect of Guinness is just a myth.

I have a lot of favourite beers, although it depends on where I am:

Guinness
Mill St. Tankhouse
Mill St. Coffee Porter
Creemore Springs
Leffe Brune
Kostritzer
Paulaner wheat beer
Hoegaarden
Coopers Sparkling Ale
Coopers Extra Stout
Tooheys Old
Duvel
Chimay Blue
Many Krieks (cherry beers from Belgium), such as Belle-vue.

Wow, I can't help but get the feeling that your in Europe. . . I've never even HEARD of most of those beers!

I'm from Toronto. ;) Mill St is brewed in Toronto, and these are probably the only regular Canadian beer that I currently enjoy, other than Creemore Springs, which I forgot to mention in my list.

Coopers and Tooheys are Aussie beers. Tooheys is a crap company, but Toohey's Old, one of the most common beers around, is actually one of the best on offer. That makes it unique, IMO.

The rest are European, and I choose them whenever I see them. I rarely see some of these at bars/pubs, but I have seen them, and I buy one every time.

I don't think that those would be considered microbrews. But they are tasty.

That's why I used the term macrobrewery. :) Much better than most of the crap like Molson, Bud, etc. And most of the places around here have one or the other (or both) on draught, which is nice.

Also nice - I quite like their Honey Brown!

For microbrew stuff, I'm quite fond of a product called Hockley. It's brewed in Orangeville, Ontario, about four hours from where I am. Used to be sold in those wicked 1L bottles with the cork, but I've only seen it in cans lately.

Now that I think of it, I should try and visit the brewery some time...

My favorite beer is the one accompanied by a shot of whisky shortly after.

Not that I drink or anything, seeing as that would be highly illegal.

My fave's (this is the first time i've tried to directly upload an image. Hopefully i don't stretch the page to hell and back):

Do you mean the Bier Markt (or however you spell it) at the Esplanade, as mentioned by Surely? I've been there, but it was just an expensive bar with bad food. The beer selection was great, and they know it, which is why they can overcharge and yet people still flock there. Very nice beer selection though. :)

If you're referring to the Distillery District east of Yonge St. (and a bit east of St. Lawrence Market), I've been there as well. It's where the Mill St. brewery is. It's also the artsy, and VERY nice part of town. :) There are other places that brew their own beer in that area, but they are smaller scale than Mill St.

Steamwhistle is near the CN Tower, and of course, I've been there too. :p

Magic Hat #9 Ale :)

you win.

My All-Around, Any Occasion, "Damn, I need a Beer", Beer.

Samuel Adams Boston Lager

:D

Hoegaarden

Hoegaarden is good ****.

Some of my favorites include:

just about any Sam Adams.. I don't think they make a bad beer.
I drink a lot of beer from New England breweries, like Magic Hat, Harpoon, and Wachusett.

I'll occasionally have a bud light if someone gives me one for free, but the only **** beer I really drink is Coors Light, and that's just for parties when we're playing drinking games.

I didn't find the beer prices to be overly expensive. The food is another story though- definitely overpriced for what it is. I never went there to eat though.

The Fionn McCools next door to the Bier Market is a cool place to have a few cold ones too, BTW.

I miss the days (in the early 2000's) when we would go to the bar across the street from my school in Chicago and order $5.50 pitchers of Labatt Blue or Rolling Rock. The beer was horrible, the gut rot the next day was awful, but you'd get blitzed for cheap!

I don't think I could drink that crap anymore though..... good times though.

Favorite brews

German. Period.

Weihenstephaner Hefe Weizen! Probably my fave!

Schneider Weisse

Hacker-Pschorr anything. I spent a winter evening at their brewery in München eating Schweinshaxe and a liter (more?) of some special wheat brew! OMFG!
