Brother's Keeper- Significant episode, getting good.

I wonder why Troy is still alive, just to torment the audience.
;)

This Land Is Your Land- Brutal episode, do you think would people would volunteer? They've come along way from suburban life in LA.

I don’t get why Nick is covering for Troy.

I think the writers are keeping Troy around because complex characters add to the drama of the story. Nick is quite the complex character himself. At this point of the story we have an incredible mix of strong yet complicated individuals. Will they be able to come together or will their egos and stubborn wills tear them apart?

Spoilers

The Season Three Final-
Outstanding final two episodes for the season! Twists, double crosses, unexpected intervention, redemption, although we are not sure for several cases, who survived. I’m in for season 4! :D

Because of how Nick treated Troy knowing what he did, I question his future judgement. I was so happy Madison concluded Troy. He was like living with a murderous sociopath.
  • Good writing.
  • The benifit of eating human brain stems was just made up.
  • Daniel continues to be a a bad hombre, in an impressive sense. You want this guy on your side.
  • I like Proctor John (Ray McKinnon). Trying to figure out which previous movie or TV I’ve seen hm in.

He had a role in a few episodes of Sons of Anarchy. He is also the creator of "Rectify". Prior to that he's been in various movies and TV shows as well (including "Deadwood").

I bet it was Deadwood, which I loved. Kim Dickens was in that too! :)

AMC released the official synopsis, promotional photos and videos for Season 8 Episode 15 of The Walking Dead – Worth, airing April 8th 2018.

I've missed a couple episodes of TWD and picked up again recently. Its almost as if nothing has changed and it's just rehashing the same themes as last season. I'm also having trouble caring about the characters anymore. Is this happening to anyone else or are you still die hard fans?

The last two seasons haven’t been my favorite. I was somewhat excited to hear that the show runner (Scott Gimple) has been recently “promoted” away from the day-to-say of the show. The brief preview of the finale gives me some hope that things will start moving...

Every once in a while one of the characters will look into the sky and see an aircraft or helicopter flying by. Is this still a mystery or has any of that part of the story been fleshed out?

They have continued that mystery this season with no real new information except...

to show there is some kind of connection between the helicopter and the garbage community location.

The new Fear season looks pretty good from the advertising they are doing. I think some are drawn to it because there is no comic connected to those characters. Thus, no complaining that things are different from the source material. The writers can do whatever they want and it's new for the fans.

I stopped watching it midway through last season.

Eugene in the clutch!
Rick finally gets a W.
Maggie, Jesus & Daryl turn heel?!

Find out next time on Dragonball Z!!!!!!
Wrong show!

FTWD is the one with the candy man gunslinger, the reporter and a time jump?

I think it will lose its appeal to me if they really just go from here. i.e. both shows take place at the same point in time after the Saviors war.

Totally flubbed that one oops!

I agree though.

Started off way too slow for me. I thought the chopper from TWD was going to be Morgan’s means of transport...

Yeah, especially since Morgan was staying at “Anne’s” trash heap.

I guess I might potentially keep watching if they spend about half the season explaining what happened since they left the dam and how team FTWD reunited, but the whole point of the show was that they were closer in time to the outbreak.

I think the time jump and the crossover bring a whole new dimension to TWD universe that the writers/producers are counting on. Now the fans can fantasize about and even root for more connections and crossover possibilities. For example, Dwight or his wife could show up on Fear at some point. The more the original series strays from the comic the more liberty the creators can take and merging the timelines opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.

It felt kinda weird watching Fear and seeing characters like Rick, Jesus, and Carol. I have no doubt hardcore fans loved it and that's exactly what I'm talking about in terms of synchronizing the timelines.

It's too much like the Walking Dead which I also stopped watching awhile back.

I really like Fear, every season feels fresh and the pace is faster than TWD. I don't mind TWD for having a slower pace, but Fear feels different from the original show and that's important.

Now with the cross-over, I'm keen to find out what happens to this theme. I hope they continue to travel across the States, TWD seems to be tied up to one place and I went to see more of the world.

Very interesting choice to come up with a way to bridge the time-gap between the shows. Basically skipping over how they got the new settlement, cutting right to the fight with another group that leads up to their travels to Morgan. They might continu to go back and forth between "Before" and "Now" for the next few episodes, making that fight the theme of the season. Will they encounter more people from TWD though?

The new group they are facing in Fear is called the Vultures. As far as the plot line of the show, well, what we are seeing with Morgan is the present and everything we are seeing with the baseball settlement is the past. There is still the matter of a time jump between what happened at the end of last season and the group reuniting at the baseball settlement. From what I can gather the story is that Madison sought out each of the group and "rescued them" from wherever they found themselves after the destruction of the dam. That's how they built the community at the baseball stadium.

In the present where they meet up with Morgan the group is looking for Madison and the Vultures. That's our main plot line for this season. Madison changed her approach to survival, rescued her family/friends and built a community that was focused on being a safe haven. Then the Vultures show up on the scene and we are left with figuring out the following... What did the Vultures do to their settlement, what happened to Madison during that conflict, and will they be able to now rescue her?

Watched the first episode of Season 4 and this was a nice change of pace from TWD, reminds me of the earlier seasons. I’ve always liked character actor Garret Dillahunt as John, Morgan’s new persistent friend.

S4:E2- They they have a Diamond City! (Fallout 4 ref) They made a comment about Texas, how rare Vermont syrup is in Texas. Season 4 production moved to Austin. So far so good!

Wow, wasn’t expecting that Nicholas! However there were a few foreshadowing things that made it clear something tragic would happen as the episode drew near the end.

Oh Charlie.

Yep, that was a big surprise.

On the after show they said the actor had requested to leave the show late last season. From what I understand that is the only reason for such a plot twist.

Well, that makes this a little different than I thought. I was thinking the show has some serious balls killing off a main character like that, the same kind of weird sudden way how Travis died. If this move was just a result of the actor's choice to leave the show, I can't give the show that credit. Shocking nonetheless.

Weird, isn't it? You want the show (TWD as well) to be surprising and daring, but on the other hand it's nice when things just stay the same. Maybe explains why I'm not done with this TWD universe yet, it's a little bit of both.
