Hated to see him go, but unexpected adds to the thrill in TWD/FTWD. There was nothing else to preserve that character for. All of his obligations were fulfilled to the best of his abilities.

The Season 3 double premier, the first 60 min was quite good. If I was Madison, I don't know if I would have honored the put the spoon down command. :)

Sorry to see Travis go. :(

Was bummed to see him go and dang it, I really liked his character.

I really dug how all of the AHoles from the shower area met their demises.

The spoon scene was classic and man that "looked" like it would have hurt!:eek::eek:

I think they are in a dilemma. How can you ever trust the guy behind the experiments at the Season 3, Episode 1 detention center? He may be looking to get even.

Or trust the father....? Yeah this should be interesting. Who knows what lies in the safety of this new compound.

I looked up names, it's Troy and Jake Otto, and the father is Jeremiah. Troy is the sociopath. I was intrigued by Madison's suggestion that they would eventually take the Otto Ranch over, I guess if it does not burn down first. ;)

Channeling her inner Rick.

On another note, very interested to see where the show goes now that
Travis
is gone. Maddie has her family in tact...so is it just survival like TWD? In line with TWD, we know that no cure has been developed or that the zombie apocalypse lasts for years as those characters are still facing it themselves. From FTWD, we know the origin, or a little of it, but what now? In my opinion, S3 might be the end of this show, or maybe S4, but unless there's some tie in between FTWD & TWD, not sure what the purpose of FTWD is now? Maybe a cure is discovered in FTWD, but we have to wait for that to translate over to TWD?

Salazar!!!!

I figured something would be off with the teens, but I didn't think that trippy. Seems like it's not even frowned upon by the higher ups either.

Nick, looked like a totally different person (literally) during that maniacal laughter frolicking in the dirt with Troy.

Uh oh Strand.

Praise Jesus! Do they know? :)
Loved the commercial at the start of the show and Madison playing the out take. :)

Glad the Salazar sighting wasn't a image.

I was impressed by his quick infiltration and disposable of what I thought would be a lingering foe.

Yes, I was glad that they are developing Ruben Blades' character. I was hoping he would be a regular and disappointed when I thought he died.

S3 E6 Red Dirt;

Loved how Troy & Madison ran up to the gate to stop that family from leaving...wait I thought their feet were severely injured.

Nick also asked Jeremiah what happened to his hand, when I thought Nick was up there at the gate confrontation too? Maybe he wasn't.

Surprised Madison is backing Troy militant stance, maybe it's a ploy.

When Alycia was telling Jake not to go, I could hear her British accent come out.

After seeing what happened to Phil and his family, I can't believe Madison is standing behind this LIE! The debauchery!! It would seem like Madison is going down a dark road without Travis, although it could still be a ploy. When they first arrived at the ranch, she said she wanted to take it over. Maybe she's anticipating Jeremiah's fall with all of their family dysfunction and her ascension with Troy and militia at her beck and call.

(Lying to protect the interest or motivate many always seems to be a theme)

Voice of reason has clearly shifted from the late Travis to Nick.

I've really enjoyed the last two episodes. There has been some good character development. Madison is quite the manipulator pulling all kinds of strings.

Season 3 Episode 6: Red Dirt- A new meaning of survival morality, the story Madison tells the group, for their own good, arguably...

I'll be watching the last two episodes (Unveiling/Children of Wraith) shown as a 2 hr final, soon. :):)

Just finished watching the finale tonight. Wow, truly wow! In true Walking Dead fashion there was a twist I never saw coming and it was a fitting end to a great season.

Half season. Lots more to come!

I'm just glad they explained some of Madison's darkness. The show may in some ways be "what if Shane led the group instead of Rick.?"

I'm feeling ambiguous about the mid season final.

I like that her kids influenced Madison that they were on the wrong side of the fight. That lieing might be considered necessary or even pragmatic, but it's a slippery slope and brings up hard decisions about law enforcement such as do you let murder of a Walker ranch family by a local go unpunished by keeping it secret, and let the group think the other side did it, so it would likely help keep them unified?
