I wonder if any iPhones are on there .............

Maybe for the Apple Stores stock, but considering it left way before we got our shipment releases, I doubt it is any of ours.

I still have faith that it will leave Anchorage today( unless they hold it there until Wednesday). When I was tracking my 27" iMac, I couldn't find a flight to Memphis, but all of a sudden one did pop up and it left on it. If it does leave today, it should be at my local sort facility tomorrow which I am sure it will be held there until Thursday. haha

is on its way TO PANC

Too bad the column titles are messed up lol :D

Look at the map. It's going to Memphis. The bottom columns are mixed up.

If there's demand FedEx will set up another flight, it won't show up on the normal schedule until it takes off.

I live in Anchorage and there is a huge FedEx distribution hub here, one of only 4 in the world: Memphis, Anchorage, Guangzhou-China and Paris.

You forgot about the FedEx hubs in Newark and Indianapolis. Not to mention the Greensboro North Carolin hub that is been added, Oh and LAX too.

I forgot about 9168 which does continue to Memphis as well. So most likely, we'll be hitching a ride on this flight if they don't hold our iPhone's in Alaska until Wednesday.

They will be making their way along around the US prior to Wednesday.

Doesd anyone know what time the next flight to Memphis is (where/how do you find that anyway)?

My package is in Alaska, too, with activity "Int'l shipment release"! Yea!

FedEx has the ability to pre-clear custom shipments while the aircraft is still flying. It is how they are able to move freight so fast. UPS has this ability too, and there is something called the "Known Shippers" list of trusted shippers.

there seem to be four flights FedEx uses; 4, 72, 96 and 9168 from Hong Kong to Alaska and it looks like those flights continue to Memphis.

That's probably the 3 stop route those flights take day in and day out

So our phones are still in the air about to land in Alaska?

I always had the status read, " Arrived at local sort facility, Anchorage, AK" before the International shipment release would show up. So I am sure our iPhones are on the ground right now waiting for 9168 to pick them up. :)

While you are correct, I don't think FedEx has it show on our status until it lands in Anchorage.

Thanks! Is there a way at that site to find when a flight is scheduled, or just to see "after the fact"?

I work for FedEx, I know exactly where they are:) More importantly, I know exactly where MINE is:cool:
