The Moroccans showed the other teams what real 1 united team play should be, others should take pointers and learn from them.

That's a good question, I don't know how they end up with 8 mins of extra time, from what I saw, they should have been 2 ~ 4 mins max, and also that Red card, why? he didn't deserve that, a yellow card would have sufficed.
That was his second yellow card in the game..

Wow, Morocco!

27% possession? Who cares!

Proving (along with Croatia) that the best defense is a very good ... defense. One goal against, so far, and it was an own goal.

Morocco actually had some high quality chances, but their finishing quality isn't their best asset.

Bounou's save on Ronaldo early in stoppage time was epic.

Yeah, that second yellow looked pretty soft.

Bruno Fernandez didn't have his best game (missed on service and on the receiving end of a couple of promising set pieces). At least he stayed on the field to congratulate the victors and console his teammates, unlike another high profile Portuguese player whose name I won't mention.

I could do with a bit less of the whistling from the Moroccan fans when the opposition has the ball. Kinda reminds me of those maddening vuvuzelas. :D

He got a second yellow not a straight red.

Next game should be an excellent match.. Looking forward to watching them go at it!
I'll be honest, my voice is gone from the last game, and I am on the edge if we lose or win this game, but also extremely excited, I think I'll be burning more than 400cal in this game, our Kebab order arriving 5mins before the game start. o_O

What's left?

Is Morocco about to do what Leicester City did with regards to going all the way with a team of relatively unknown players but who grounded out results to get the wins. Leicester City did it with a team of unknowns and ended up winning the English Premiership. Is Morocco going to go one step further and grind out the wins to win the World Cup. It's certainly doable.

Everything is possible after seeing this year's WC, they might possibly do it, and I wouldn't put it off my list.

Not looking forward to it. Nervous. Our boys will need to be on top of their game to beat the French.
If the England forwards do what England forwards have done many many times in the past which is to go for individual glory to get the goal rather than take the better option of passing it to another player for a certain goal then England will lose.

Is it me or does anyone else finds it strange England wears the Blue shirt and the French the White shirt? shouldn't be the other way around?

Depends who is the 'away team'. England 'Home' colours is white but so is France's 'Away' colours and France 'Home' colours is blue which is the same as England's 'Away' colour. You cannot have two whites or two blues as would be the case if England and France wore their home and away colours, so in this game both have to wear their 'away' colours so as to not clash with one another.

I know each team have a third colour but not sure if it's allowed to be used at World Cup games.

You are correct, however.

Actually I have to correct myself as am getting to hyped up about the game. England's 'Away' colour is red, their 3rd kit is blue. So am wondering if the rules do not allow two teams to wear 'Away' colours as one has to be designated the 'Home' team. I believe England have been designated the 'Home' team thus would not be allowed to play in their away red and cannot wear their home of white because it clashes with the French away colours. Only solution would be for England to use their 3rd kit colours.

I am so focused on the game, I just noticed the England team wearing white shirts now, I guess the Blue shirt was for their preparation time only.

England have a blue design print warmup/pre-game shirt that they wear prior to games starting.

It was probably this:

France goal!!!!. In my opinion France will want this more because they are the defending champions and that will give the players more desire to win.

The Ref is bloody garbage, that was clearly a penalty for Kane.
Foul on Saka for the French goal and a foul on Kane for no penalty, people will be saying the ref want's France to win lol. Both incidents were very very marginal BUT ref's have given for much less.

The VAR even showed it as a penalty but was ignored by the Ref.

Lets put it this way, England, it's people, it's businesses and it's MP's have all very persistently been going about human rights issues and deaths of workers building the football stadiums and of the issue that Qatar was fraudulently given the world cup by financial backhanders given to FIFA personnel who after corruption findings within FIFA were found to be guilty, sacked and arrested. It's does Qatar and it's government no favours to have the England team continue through the competition. Just saying :)

Great goal by France. England’s offense can’t finish it, lots of missed opportunities.

Ref is awful.
