It seems crazy to me that my last phone, which I picked up the month it was released, was a Note 3. I've had my current phone, the 6s just under two years and they're up to a Note 8...

It's been really difficult to keep the new phones hidden this year. I'm hoping the keynote date is leaked soon, there's that one that says the 12th but Evan Blass hasn't said anything yet and last year he leaked most things including the event date.

And i hope original date comes 6th September, So we don't have to wait another week for the new iPhone

Same here. I rather they put it at the back than none at all.... Facial for front unlock. Touch ID if the phone is held in your hand, or the screen faces down.

To make matter worse, I'm counting on that Touch ID in the screen is gonna come back for iPhone 8S..... So iPhone 8 or not... argh

I saw that rumor from a few days back with the (likely fake) iphone 8 with the fingerprint sensor hole on the back, and caught myself thinking "well, maybe it wouldn't be so bad back there. At least we'd have it."

FWIW, my buddy has the Galaxy, and quickly got used to the sensor on the back. As you grab it in your pocket, you just hit it with your index finger, he says.

Anyone think we might get a full working model a few days before the keynote? That would be awesome
