I can't get this dizzy program to run on my mac. Installs fine. But when I launch it, I get that popup telling me how firefox crashed. I wanted to try it to see if I can use it.

If anyone hasn't gotten it already. 3.0b2 through Firefox auto update. It has now rectified the extra File entry. You'll also need to install the updated proto theme for beta2. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6050

Adblock Plus still works with beta2.

downloaded firefox ok tried this got to bit where it says firefox will restart
great then came back just the same no OS X look????

Did you install the theme like it said to in the very post you quoted? If you install that theme and then activate it, it works fine. I'm using it now. Looks nice.

Yeah, the FF beta is darned good. Personally I'm using Arronax's GrApple theme for FF rather than the prototype 'official' theme as I find it rather more Mac-like (and Fission works with it).

you need to goto Tools->addons->themes, click the "proto" and click "use this theme" button, then restart.

Is there any way to make FF's maximize feature like safaris and caminos? (maximize as in the green "+" button) Does it not have this because its not written in Cocoa? Thats the main thing that has me not switching to FF.

I have one more problem that I have not been able to fix with FF. When I try to open a video, mostly with youtube, in another tab, I want it to not focus on the tab and not to start playing the video. Safari behaves like this and I like that. For instance, if im looking on DIGG and I see a video i want to watch, i like to open it in a tab and look at it after i look at the whole webpage. FF starts playing the video right when its opened in the tab, even when im not focused on it.

I know that might be confusing, i cant think of an easier way to explain it, and Ive tried everything in about:config that has tab in it and cant fix it.

thanks in advanced
