iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus are the first iPhones I have used cases with, they make my hand sweat like hell.
If only you could have read the next sentence.![]()
I have never used a case with any phone I've owned.
YES!! PLEASE! I loved the way the 5s looked and felt, the only reason I got the 6 was for the bigger screen otherwise I would still be using my 5s.
I'm in the same boat. Can't wait for some leaked schematics to confirm they have ditched the rounded shapes for the 7. But then again they kept the boxy look for four years with the 4/4s and 5/5s models, so I'm not too optimistic honestly. We might have another 2 years with a 6 type design.![]()
IMHO the 6 / 6+ rounded edges are the worst of Apple's iPhone designs. It's slippery and extremely difficult to hold onto. I recently sold my 5s, and when I picked it up I was amazed at how comfortable it was in my hand. The 6 and 6+ are ergonomic failures. Nothing was gained. The display edge to phone edge is actually greater in the 6's over the 5's, only masked by a color change in chassis.
You don't know Apple then. Apple has always been about getting a great idea or design out there, then constantly iterating on it. Only in your crazy dreams has Apple been some tech messiah who has consistently released revolutionary product after revolutionary product every few weeks. No company can sustain that sort of product release cycle, regardless of how rich they are or how talented their staff are.Apple's new tagline: Why innovate when we can regurgitate?
Apple hasn't changed. I can predict the next iPhone 7 already. Better display quality. Faster processor. Better camera. Possibly improved Touch-ID, maybe better Force Touch sensors as well. 1 or 2 other new hardware features (maybe wireless charging). None of these improvements are revolutionary or game-changing in itself, but together, they comprise a solid list of improvements nevertheless, and the sales figures will show that consumers agree with this sentiment as well.
Not defensive at all and 'no feelings were hurt during this thread'. I was just clarifying your misunderstanding. However you appear to remain confused.
It's called brand recognition, that's why Apple continued to have such strong sales even if the quality of the products haven't been what they used to be. But even Apple has admitted that iPhone sales have peaked. Will we see a repeat of the 90s? Not right now but maybe at some point down the road but since they have so much money now, they have to continue on the path of developing and releasing subpar and half-baked products which they are currently on. As long as Tim Cook is CEO, they'll settle for the bottom line. The magic is running out and unless Apple can get that Steve Jobs mojo back, midnight might be here sooner than we think.Totally agree with this, i keep seeing the same messages that have floated around for years "Apple is doomed" "Apple isn't innovating anymore" "Steve Jobs was Apple" it makes me laugh because since Steve Jobs has been gone, Apple has grown from strength to strength. Are they perfect, no, no company is but sale figures speak for themselves and millions of people are voting with their wallets, buying iPhones, Mac's, iPads and so on. I don't think all of this is coming from a company that is failing.
I use my 6S+ with one hand without a case with no issues. It definitely doesn't feel like the slippery bar of soap some posters here are making it out to be.

Instead, Apple has always been about going the distance and focusing on the really minute and incremental improvements in their products. The sort of details which their competition normally wouldn't bother with. But these incremental improvements matter to Apple's customer base. That's why we are Apple consumers, and that's why we are willing to shell out good money for incremental changes which other companies won't bother or even pay attention to, like making sure their ports at the bottom of the phone line up properly.
The iPhone 2g, 3g and 3gs all used the same form factor. As did the iPhone 4 to 5s (more or less the same oblong shape). I won't be surprised to see the iPhone 7 and 7s' design be derived from the iPhone 6, with Apple toiling tirelessly away to finally do away with the protruding camera and antennae bands purely out of principle alone.

I wish Apple and everyone else would concentrate on improving the battery instead of making the phone thinner and thinner. You should be able to get a full 12 hours of video viewing, 24 hours talk time or 30 day standby time on a full charge. It is about time they come up with new battery technology. If they can send man to moon I am sure they can come up with something.

Have you only just realised that nothing dumy Ever says makes.any sense at all. He's just a paid.shill for Apple, a funny one granted. .What good is a thinner, lighter phone if you are just going to put one of those huge, heavy cases on it? Makes absolutely no sense to me.
Apple is not getting rid of the home button.I like this design, though.
But fir the + get rid of the homebutton.

I certainly am jealous. To be able to augment my income by apple paying me post on an anonymous internet forum. What a concept!Have you only just realised that nothing dumy Ever says makes.any sense at all. He's just a paid.shill for Apple, a funny one granted. .
Best Apple is doomed post yet. Steve Jobs was the heart and soul of Apple, Tim Cook is John Sculley 2.0
Analysts theory makes no sense since if the iphone7 has such minimal upgrades Apples sales are going to be minimal as well. While the iPhone 7S may hold better features the Iphone7 has to have some special features
Look at MacBook revisions. After a certain point the design gets finalized. I predict iPhone 7 sales will be a decline and I'm sure a lot of analysts do as well.Analysts theory makes no sense since if the iphone7 has such minimal upgrades Apples sales are going to be minimal as well.
