Now, why didn't they put the antenna bands like that in the first place... So much better!

I'm hoping for a much thinner, lighter iPhone. Each new iPhone should be as thin as possible, and I don't care about reducing internal battery life for thinness now we have cases that take care of the problem.

Fixing the protruding camera lens is a huge win for consumers. That alone will be enough for most people to upgrade.

iPhone "6/6s" design language, no protruding camera, and no ugly antenna bands on the back? Sold.

If they lessen the bezels on the phones so the 6s Plus (7 Plus) is more comfortable to use one handed then I'll be in love.

Yes! Introducing iPhone 10, we removed the battery altogether to acquire our targeted paper thinness.
Battery cases sold separately, which is brilliant as we can have as much thickness and battery life as we desire.
Imajeenious.

Why did the render in the article remove just two of the antenna lines, and not all of them?

EDIT: Yes, I see the rumor says the side and top lines will remain. Still, why not make a mockup without the lines at all?

If a mock-up is intended to reflect the expected reality, why would one purposely deviate from the expected reality in making the mock-up?

I really hope it will be thinner and lighter than the 6s. I feel the 6s is just too heavy. Try holding a 5s and a 6s at the same time. The 6s feels like a heavy, ancient brick. Personally, I think the 7 should be at least as thin and light as the original 6.

if that's all, then it would feel like a slightly more than S upgrade - especially for people who use covers. I don't think they dare doing that

I am just hoping that the 7 and 7+ don't have different camera/other components. I really love the size of my 6s, have been wanting the 6s+ for the image stabilization. I don't want to have to choose the bigger phone to get all the premium features.
Bigger is not always better! (that coming form a Texan)
A bigger phone has room for more (advanced) hardware. Why not utilize that space?

Witholding features for the sake of equality is nonsense.
