It's that obvious that you can be sure that they have tried it and rejected the design.
I actually went to Android for that reason. I would have bought the 6s in a heartbeat if it had a bigger battery. I don't want a phone the size of the Plus.
And I miss IOS. But cheaper prices and better battery make up for it!
Stop this insanity of thinness and 3D Touch. Folks by PREMIUM devices for battery, storage and Camera. And the battery case makes it the size and cost of the Plus!

I find it hard to believe that if the phone is SLIMMER (one reason to get rid of the headphone jack, which, btw, was not mentioned here), that the camera is going to be flush, and probably not with the dual camera that has been said to be coming to the PLUS model.
Really, never noticed it on my other iPhones w/ the flush camera and a case. Interesting.

It will be a redesign like 4S to 5 was. Similar but you can tell the difference.
It really is not the same as a phone case. Who puts a case on a watch...?
Now that I think of it, only some people with the apple watch.
they were the same in the sense they were both rectangles, but the design was very different. From the looks to the actual materials used. The 4/4s was glass on both sides.
The 6+ has hit the happy medium of thickness to battery life. The non-plus model is where Apple needs to get off Ive's bloody obsession with thin phones. It only hurts users usability and results in abhorrent battery pack extras.
Not really. It went from glass to metal, thinner and longer with bigger screen. I still think that the iPhone 7 will be a smaller phone with the standard models having the same screen sizes but they will further reduce bezel end to end sizes to do it.
There was nothing like it at the time, truly an iconic design.
I've never understood the constant criticism of the bands on the back. Is this really something that keeps people awake? I've never once looked at the bands and thought, "man, the phone would so much better without them." I mean, if that's what you're complaining about, you're basically saying the phone can't get much better, it seems.
I guess I just see "design" as separate from materials and dimensions. The 5 was an updated 4s, it wasn't a 1 year product redesign.
For you and those that use cases/don't care it's a great point.
However, I refused to upgrade to the iPhone 6 because of the protruding camera. AWFUL
JONY IVE ON HIS DEATH BED: "WHY DID I LET THE 6 HAVE THAT PROTRUDING CAMERA!?!"
Worst design I've seen in recent Apple history. (and there's no way Steve would have let that happen)
