For the people asking why it's not a major redesign. Remember the 4S to 5, the design was different, but still similar.
The 6S to 7 will be the same. A different design, but still similar.
Personally I love the 6S design, except for the camera sticking out. That is my only grievance with the 6S design.
Otherwise, great phone.
I would prefer the 7 to maintain the thickness of the 6S to improve battery but say la vie.

Instead of eliminating the ugly lines... How about we just have the antenna lines match the body of the phone?

Wow, can't believe all of those millionaire executives couldn't figure that one out.

i never got that either. they bothered to make them white on the golden iphone instead of the dark grey so might as well have colored them in the same shade

for the love of god get rid of that dated bezel. the iPhone x Plus is bigger than it needs to be

Yes! Introducing iPhone 10, we moved the battery altogether to acquire our targeted paper thinness.
Battery cases sold separately, which is brilliant as we can have as much thickness and battery life as we desire.
Imajeenious.

And the hardcore Apple defenders would say, "Stop complaining! Apple doesn't owe you anything! You're all acting entitled! If you want a battery in your iPhone, stop being cheap and pay more for it! Don't like it? Go to Android!"

1. Camera was never an issue as it never comes out of it's case.

2. Antenna bands were never an issue as it never comes out of it's case

3. If this is the extent of the exterior redesign then they had better make iPhone 7 also come with 3 wishes, or I am keeping my iPhone 6 until iPhone 8.
If you're using a case, the exterior doesn't really matter at all, does it?

Does the protruding camera really bother that many people? I mean I guess I'm not bothered by it because my phone is always in a case, but still

Same for antenna bands really
Yeah, I don't get the hate either. I'm sure the overwhelming majority of people use a case, which smooths out the protruding lens and hides the bands.

Anyone wanna do a photoshop with the dual lens? I'll send a like your way!
There!

Seriously, if these were the only two changes to the design aspect, I'd be happy. Two of my pet hates with current iPhones.

Wow that's ugly. I thought every other year is supposed to bring a new design. I'd hardly call that a new design. People want new designs and not something that looks similar to the phone they're trying to replace.

I care less about the protruding camera and care more about not segmenting the camera capabilities between sizes. I don't want a phone that large but I want the camera. This is seemingly a growing trend with Apple and a weird one considering, just not too long ago, they were scoffing at a larger screen size.

A bigger phone has room for more (advanced) hardware. Why not utilize that space?

Witholding features for the sake of equality is nonsense.

Use that extra space for a bigger battery rather than different hardware.

Criticism on the products that even we buy, enjoy and love albeit have some critique about aren't taken well here.
I hope someday Apple doesn't decide to just cater to these crowds.

Some people are saying "mine is always in a case, i dont care".

For me I dont do cases, its like putting a case on a watch or putting those ugly bumper things on cars. You dont get to enjoy the natural design.

More $#@$%$ battery ... less of the "make it as thin as possible" crap.

Agreed! I am happy with the battery life on the 6s+ but I would still take more battery over an even thinner design.

On a related topic, I would LOVE to know what % of iPhone users carry their phone in a case? All the fuss over antenna bands, protruding cameras, and shaving a 1/2 mm off the design really doesn't mean much if you are going to carry the phone in a case.
