just curious, but which cases? my two from Spigen didn't quite fit. the buttons on either side didn't reach. Incipio's current 6 Plus cases won't fit as well, and they even suggest waiting for their 's' versions. but their cases are pretty snug.

My Spigen fits but did not try long so while I saw no problems, I am using/testing a tech21 Impactoogy classic check that i had on my 6 Plus, it fits well.

For those with a Space Gray version - is your outer camera ring polished silver or matte black? My 64GB SGray is matte black. Apple's website shows a polished/reflective service for all colors/storage options.

Mine also matte black.

Some tests this morning, loving the colors, looking forward to trying sunrises and sunsets and the like. Always had hard time in getting close colors as good as they looked. These looked close to what I saw this morning at Soccer game

Mine is black, the top is matte but the side is not so much of a matte black cause it's polished and reflects light

I got that same case and color. Except my Rose Gold iPhone 6S Plus is still out of stock so it's sitting on a Space Grey right now until I can exchange the phone. I bought the full plate white Tech Armor screen protector.

Funny people say when ram is upgraded from 1 to 2 gig and they say it went quicker. Nope. Having a bigger RAM does not generally make a phone responds quicker (or snappier). Hahahaha. Lol. This thread is for people who wants to brag about their new iphones and make themselves feel good of what apple gave them as 'features'.

P.s. I use apple and android devices. Im not a fanboy BUT.... i read and study about the advertised features and specs the company tells the people.

This thread was started not to brag about anything but to give feedback on the initial impressions of the new device.

I never read and study the specs because as you've pointed out in your own post the specs don't necessarily mean guaranteed performance.

looks like it does a good job generally.
i don't mind the very slight S6 advantages.

Well, having more files cached in RAM does makes things respond quicker in terms of load time, not initially but after using the device for a while. The system won't have to fetch files as often from the flash storage which in computing terms is much slower than the DDR4 RAM.

Apple didn't advertise on its RAM, they were never into advertising specs. All they do is tell you that this item is XX% faster than the previous generation.

It feels more manageable caseless and also the new aluminum has a better grip even if only slightly. Maybe its in my head but it doesn't feel like its wrapped in butter.

Can anyone else confirm this? I read it in a review as well, and would love to learn that the back of the S models is actually easier to grip.

You are seriously misinformed and I will leave it at that. The new iPhones are beasts, no way round it.

Valid Point. However, it could be done easily in a settings addition. Not all that much different from your Display Brightness Setting. :apple:

Apples and lemons. There are much more variables when it comes to display brightness (outside/inside, eye sensitivity, etc). TouchID's purpose is to authenticate your print as fast as possible. And it does.

when I got my S6 edge, I was happily surprised to be able to see the screen clearly under the blazing sun. it carried through to my Note5. today, I tried with my 6s+ and it's equally as good as my N5. I love the whites on my 6s+, but prefer the blacks on my N5.

something else I've been noticing...

when I'm getting notifications and the notification tones are going off, while I'm typing (with tap sounds on) the sounds clash with each other and the speaker cracks pretty bad screwing the audio file playback. anyone else noticing this? using SwiftKey, btw.

Tuesday morning can't get here soon enough! I'm really torn about setting up as new device and giving up my Health data or restoring from backup and Resetting All Settings after the restore. We shall see...
