really hoping the fingerprint sensor is much better at detecting a difficult print. couldn't use it for my 6 because it never was able to read my prints. always worked for an hour or two and then stopped. i have very dry skin and past issues that seem to have messed up my prints. wondering if the new phone will actaully work for those of us with these issues.

I have a similar issue during the winter.
The Touch ID is way too fast. Can't touch the home button without unlocking it. Now have to get used to using the unlock button to turn on the screen.

I've heard this from many. I'd expect a Touch ID Sensitivity adjustment at some point down the road. :apple:

Wow, I came into this really jaded, and I'm impressed after using the 6S for a few hours. The touch ID is crazy fast, and my internet connection no longer stalls and drops out! My other iPhones never really worked right with my Wi-Fi, but this one loads pages instantly!

Man, guess it pays to have low expectations lol

First photo with my 6s+ and between this and my note 5 Apple wins again with overall picture quality to me

Oh man, don't let the ****ing morons over at reddit hear you say that. They will jump on you like flies to ****.

Have you considered an otter box (or similar) case for instances like this? Doesn't even have to be an all the time thing. We have an otter box on our iPad. My kid throws that thing around. I'd be pretty comfortable throwing that thing down a flight of stairs, too.

I have considered getting some armor, and I know this sounds silly but I never fall when I go out with intentions of going hard (I use "never" lightly) but when I tend to damage things and myself is when I just grab my board to go to my neighbors house that is in a newer part of our development about 1/4 mile away. I wouldn't be disciplined enough to take it on and off at least 1 if not 2 times daily. I have had a lot of luck for many years now with my phones except minor scratches. I got my 6s and had tmobile cancel the insurance plan I had on the 6 and am going to get apple care instead since the deductible is less for breaking it. only downside is apple doesn't cover lost or stolen but I don't go many places where those things would happen and I have an apple watch so I can always ping it or use find my iPhone on my laptop. anyways thanks for the heads up on cases :)

I was on the Live Photos are just a gimmick train until last night. I found them to be really great at a concert I took some pics at. The frame rate and rather theatrical band that I saw made them look epic. im converted.

Live Photos and battery life is amazing. 3D Touch you know will be great when it works with more apps

Well at least your honest lol. There's always Apple care

blows my mind when i read some of the posts that go up here like the other day I saw one about how someone activates or pays for insurance 2 months before the new phones come out, has it 'stolen' around the time of launch, and then has the insurance replace it with a new one. Then would sell the 'stolen' one because every year for the past 7 they got lucky and found it. wish I could find it but some people have no integrity.

You see ones all the time about how to get applet to replace it for free because they got a scratch on their phone or whatever...

Loving the iPhone 6S Plus so far. It's my first iPhone coming from Android. 3D Touch implementation is great, the most useful in Mail to peek and delete. Also Touch ID is really impressive. The unlock is super quick and now I can use it to log into my bank app to save time. Also can't wait to use it for Apple Pay.

I miss the Android Lollipop notifications for Gmail that show a piece of each email and the option to delete, and some other basic functions, but overall I'm really happy with it. Picked up the stone silicone and black leather cases and they both look great.

is this not possible with IOS?

Loving phone so far. 3d touch is awesome. No more Safari reloads....dynamic!! The camera, however, disappointed. For the first time I feel Apple is a BIG step behind in this regard. I have been comparing to my 6Plus and to be honest on many occasions I think the regular 6Plus gets the better photo. Other manufacturers have surpassed Apple with the camera, and Apple has not caught up. I love IOS too much to switch, but for the first time in awhile the thought has entered my mind. I liked having the best, or near best cell phone camera, as camera is important to me. Right now I think there are many better options for a cell phone camera.
