Love it. Still has a few things that need changing (like offering a dark theme) but overall it is a dramatic improvement over the out dated look of the OS.

Absolutely LOVE it!!! It is such a huge and positive departure from the stale iOS6, it feels faster, more fluid, more pleasing aesthetically, functionality is vastly improved
-new camera filters are awesome
-love how when i tap the search bar in safari i get my bookmark bar's favorites from my MBP
-love how changing wallpaper image changes the color and mood of the
control/notification centers
-swiping through menus and safari browser is sweet :)

All in all great experience, once you try it you will never want to go back!

I was overly critical when I installed beta 1.

Now with 7.0 I'm very pleased. The icons are actually ok, I do like the simplicity, it also seems fluid.

The iPhone 5s and ios 7 has had a lot of bashing recently but I really think the 64 bit, motion hardware and fresh new os is the beginning of new mobile possibilities.

On the 4s I was a total skeptic at first but loving it now. Lock screen is gorgeous with the right wallpaper I've found myself just staring at it more then once. The two-toned wallpapers Apple included give the dock some personality vs the wallpaper. Can't wait to see this on the 5s, texting has a small lag and I also find this calendar worst then the last. I already downloaded the replacement too bad I couldn't wait to approve the purchase with my prints.

Terrible. It's as laggy as Android now.

I like how it takes 10 seconds just to change wallpaper.

Agree with the wallpaper issue. The rest seems fine for the most part, but specific actions like switching wallpapers takes FOREVER. Definitely need to fix some bugs.

Beautiful, not missing my jailbroken iOS 6 phone a bit.

I hope developers be quick on updating to iOS 7 (WhatsApp...) and quick reply for 7.1 please.

In terms of operation, it does seem snappier and smoother but and it's a big but, the new design is a complete mess.

Colour is completley mis-managed and saturated to hell, the whole design fails on basic design principles, seriously this can't be from Ive surely!!

Oh and the new keyboard, WTF, extremely hard to type on, the new font used is way too thin, it's a nice font i like it ascetically but not on a keyboard!

I find the whole design incredibly 'toy' like now, and ok i know obviously this is just my opinion but i'm no-longer lining up for the 5s, I personally think this is a huge mis-step.

No doubt i'll be proved wrong but it's no-longer for me sadly.

I get the feeling that most people liking it are on iPhone while most who dislike are on iPad.

I'm on an iPad now and its terrible. It has some fine points for sure, but the home screens, icons, and colors are just bad.

Someone said it above. It looks like a cosmetic counter.

Going back... to 6.

I love it, though it seems on certain wallpapers the parallax effect nauseates me, not on all though. I know parallax can be turned off so no negative for me.

Id change the "dock design" to be more traslucent and Id like too see more apps per folder page, but that´s about it. Overall in love with the OS

It's better, just too much freakin white. I don't know if I'll adjust to it. I probably will, as these things are field tested massively. Just doesn't seem that way now.

Acclimation is .....occasionally unreliable :D

First impression is that I love it. Live swipe up for closing multi-task programs. Love the while zoom in/zoom out for loading programs, exiting programs/menus. So far so good, I haven't had any problems...

- Homescreen and icons are childish & overtly feminine. Have no idea what Ives was thinking, here. It will be interesting to see how this changes perception of the brand amongst users, particularly younger demographic desiring "cool" factor.

- Visual/spatial animations seem like a step up and enhancement of user experience (if your phone can handle them)

- Visual Functionality/usability amongst native apps is a train wreck. Will be tough justifying these fonts to older demo. Music app and notes is probably worst thing I've seen Apple design.

Again, not really sure what was in Ive's head, here.

my complaints are lack of icons all my folders are smaller and requires more scrolling to get to all my apps. I think i will just use separate screens now. you can't see everything in a day in calendar. I use teathering the most in settings and it requires turning it on and off each time but that is not a item I can get to fast.

OK, bucking the trend here, my first impression on a 4S ( downloaded directly on phone-1hour)...YUCK. Where do I begin? First , the flat, candy icons look amateurish, or they were designed by Fisher Price. In all honesty, Apple has created the world's first chick OS...it reminds me of a cosmetics counter. My manager ( a 45yo woman) agreed and said the icons looked "cute". Sigh...

The trend within their apps ( and in Mac OS X as well) to go greyscale or minimal design , in my eyes, reduces functionality and ease of use. At 50 years of age, I find greyscale icons/toolbars difficult to use and to discern which is greyed out or not.

Perfectly summed up. It's a chick OS....LOL! My wife and I have been loving all the Apple products we began buying earlier this year, but this is annoying. The one feature I do like is the single finger swipe for the bottom control panel. The rest is just too cute for my tastes. This is on one of our iPads, but might not go on the others just yet.

Tell me about it.

Not masculine at all, so far. But then again, your perception changes.

I won't know for a while, but ......well, it doesn't look good.

You never know with these companies. There can be power shifts and God only knows what kind of denial can spring up. Corporate denial is bizarre.

Just goes to show you how much Steve was happening.

The colors of the icons are horrible. The phone is fluorescent green. I really don't get the colors.

My little niece referred to it as cartoon wonderland.

Seriously, how is this going to affect the perception of their brand?

I also cannot resize photos for wallpaper. It won't let you use the entire image. It automatically zooms in and won't let you zoom out.
