They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

Wow

I just finished reading all of the posts. It is funny how people react to stuff. It has no impact on any of your lives that he is doing this, yet it motivates you to chastise this poor guy. Okay if fairness some of you said nice stuff too.

When I first saw this posting I sent it straight away to my Bro in Canada. I linked the forum and tilled the email "Is this okay?" His response - "Only if you get an iPhone 4 before your brother!"

Whatever the motivation it made me read like 15 pages of posts, I laughed three times out loud, and I took the time to post soooo.... good job - Do work!

OMG... this gets filed under "things you can't unsee" for sure. I am gonna have freakin nightmares.

Look away Justin, you don't need to worry about this little girl creeping around your tent at night!

:D

i remember standing in line for the first gen phone. drove 2 hours to get there, while in line it started to rain. ahh, good times! :)

your approach is a bit more extreme, but to each his own. stay safe.

Just joined the forums (hello everyone! :)) - this is the first thread I've read & what a great one to start with :D

I don't see any harm in what Justin is doing - as others have said, he's just having a bit of fun!

I'm trying to get work done but keep finding myself browsing the web for the latest news on the iPhone 4. No doubt I'll unintentionally waste countless hours doing the same in the upcoming week & I'm sure it's the same for many others. There's similarities between the time we'll spend talking about the iPhone on the net & Justin camping outside the store, infact with all the press and people he's meeting, he's probably having more fun than some of us who are just watching from the 'sidelines' over the internet :p

Good luck Justin! I missed your joining the MR Forum yesterday. Great to see you here. This thread, if it hasn't already, should become a sticky for sure. EDIT: I see they have!

Originally, when I saw the picture I thought you were next to a warehouse, but the other pic from an angle (showing the :apple: logo) cleared it up.

Enjoy the day and your week until you get the phone. I'm glad you're #1 and posting here. Makes it cooler for the rest of us waiting, doing our daily "stuff". You're a celebrity now! Stay as cool as you can. Glad they let you come in the store, use the facilities, etc.!

I must say when I first saw this my reaction was this guy is crazy its just a phone. But once he started posting I now really like and respect this guy. It's about doing what makes you happy in life, no matter what others may think or say. This is a great experience, he has news coverage, the love of all the employees at that apple store, and just look at how big this thread has gotten. This is one of the coolest threads on Macrumors ever with a member going up to this guy and him signing up and participating because of it. You're a cool dude Justin stay safe out there and keep doing what makes you happy!

i say this with all seriousness - maybe some company will see the guts and determination this guy has and offer him a job!

why is this a sticky? lol it's a guy in a tent, not some awesome run-down on iPhone 4 specs and availability with an FAQ....

lol.

the reason there are so many negative people, is that they all want the phone as badly as this guy. he reminds THEM how geeky THEY really are and want to disassociate themselves from this extreme a fanboy.

kinda like why a lot of people have issues with old people. because in the end, you know this is where we all end up and we gotta try to deny it.

psychology sux!

slightly off topic but can someone explain the appeal of krispy kreme to me?, I'm from england and we don't have them over here :p

Gift

Ok, so I've figured out my/our gift to Justin (for today anyway). I won't mention publicly what it is, but if you want to contribute a $1 or $2, pm me and I will give you the details.

I'm putting a sign on it stating that it is from his 'Macrumors.com Forum Friends'. I'll take some pics and post them once it is dropped off.

They're sugary, fatty, goodness. Think of a donut that melts in your mouth (if it is fresh). Though honestly, if you do get a chance to go to a KK sometime in your life, avoid all but their base donut (the one they are famouse for). It's wierd. They're standard donut is totally awesome, but all their other donuts are nasty.

Damnit, now I want one.

Anyone near him want to pick up some Krispy Kremes?

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts as much as the next man, but I'll be damned if I'd want a stomach full of those things in 97+ degree heat. That's pure misery.

Nice work, Justin! Ignore the haters, they're just jealous of the shiny new phone you'll be getting on launch day.

You mean the same shiny new phone that just about everyone here will also be getting on launch day?

Justin I think what your doing is Awesome.Hell I wish I could do it just to say "I did it" the only thing that struck me odd, was the fact that you get seizures. God forbid you have one in the middle of the night and nobody is around to see it. Or maybe you dont get them often, i dont want to pry but I would hate for something like that to happen. Other then that keep on trucking and have fun!
