First iPhone 4 Camper spotted

Gee I wonder where an unemployed guy got the money to buy an iPhone 4... OH YAH thats right, he's probably getting monthly checks from our goverment because he is "disabled"
Give me a break, this guy is a direct representation of whats wrong with America.
Whats even better is that people on this board want to give him MORE money just because he is sitting outside an Apple store instead of being productive like going to school or trying to get a JOB.

I'm glad people like the site! We've been working on it for a couple of days.
I'm still making a few tweaks to the site but it's live and ready to go. I've set it up so Justin can easily post to the site from his iPhone. Justin will start posting photos soon.
In the meantime, if anyone takes photos or finds some good photos online, please let me know. We'll post them to the site. We can turn the site into a community driven site. We can also post photos of the other lines/campers from all the other Apple stores. I'm sure things will start picking up in the final days leading up to the launch.

The 2nd in line or even someone who turns up on the day is going to get his/her phone barely a few mins later than you when you could have spent the week sleeping in a comfortable bed as opposed to living on rations and ******** into a bucket and living in 100 degree temperatures.

why does he have to accomplish something?, he is doing it for the experience, in the end its a guy doing what he wants and having fun doing it and some people happen to be being friendly to him, you know.. friendly?
a techie geek?, well this is a Mac orientated forum, I think you can expect a few "techie geeks" on it and in the end its not like they are doing anything to bother you, people can just miss this thread if they don't care and are not interested, the link on the front pages said this thread was for well wishers.

well maybe I would join him if I was anywhere near dallas, as a matter of fact I am in england and it would be quite a trip 😛, and I never mentioned I wanted to do it or it being something I would want to do, doesn't mean I have to flame a guy for wanting to though. and from what it sounds like not everyone is walking past acting or thinking "he is a idiot", who cares if they do, its a bit sad on them, sounds like a lot of people have been pretty friendly to him and in the end who cares what people do think, it sounds like he is having a good time and is meeting a whole bunch of nice people. and if I was there I guess we would just be a couple of 'idiots' having a good time which in the end is what matters 😀

What's even worse in this country is the desire to jump to conclusions based on non existent and/or limited facts. Had you bothered to spend a few minutes longer and read at least Justin's messages, you wouldn't look so foolish with your conclusions.
God forbid if, in the name of productivity, all we did in life was go to school and work without a hobby, without a break, without a <fill in the blank> game to go to or watch, without doing something that amused us or pleased us.

Hey Justin I just wanted to say that I think some are just jealous and if they didn't have other things going on in their life they would have camped out as well. I am also a fanboy I have had all the new iPhones on the day they came out. It took forever to get caught up on this thread, but after I did I had to join just so I could tell you that. HAVE FUN JUSTIN!

If I didn't have to teach every day this week, I'd be there overnight into Thursday, for sure. This is my first iPhone (though a lifelong Mac user) and it would have been a cool experience.

do you even know what disabled people go through in this country? Think pre-existing condition, think medicaid, think about the rules in witch people with disabilities have to live by if they are on medicaid. SSI means nothing to us, it's all about the care we need for our disabilities that keeps us in the system trapped in a unending cycle.
Most disabled people will work under the table, and maybe that is the case with Justin. We have to hide any income from uncle sam so we can continue to get treatment for our disabilities. When private insurance opens up to us and we no longer live by the rules of medicaid, well then you can call people out.
I have no clue if this is what he is going through, but it's something to think about before you go on those hard working american rants.
