It seems like lighting affects the color. The photo posted in this thread seems more muted. Won't matter to me as mine will be in one of Apple's silicon cases from day one.

My girlfriend's 6S was showing as "preparing for shipment" until late last night, when it changed to "despatched" but the DHL track and trace was broken the whole time. Arrived an hour or so ago at her work, so she won't be unwrapping it until tonight. Pink hater, so went for the silver.

Justine Sacco was crucified by people rushing to judge in a viral social media world. It's a great lesson both on pausing to understand before reaching judgement and of allowing dissenting voices in internet discussions. Those are the states with no sales tax, so the scalpers (and everyone else) pay less there.
And Apple stated yesterday or Tuesday that they were not offering any Walk-in sales for iPhones in those states. So the scalpers are screwed.

Indeed. Many old grandfathers today would've grown up wearing pink. Especially in the UK where pink was the colour of the British Empire on maps. I'm flummoxed at what people think they can assume about someone else based on the colour of their phone. Odd.

I completely agree. I only went with the silver model because the white bands on the rose gold wasn't appealing to me.
