First iPhone X Orders Begin Shipping Out to Customers

Got mine scheduled for delivery Nov 3rd to home address, but couldn't be home that day to accept delivery. Signed up for UPS Choice, and thinking of option to get it delivered to a UPS store.

Anyone with experience with changing delivery to UPS Choice to UPS store?

Yes I do it all the time. I am doing it with this phone, watch, and case.

Same thing here! Canada "preparing for shipment" and no way to find tracking info with UPS (tried phone number, order number, order number minus last 2 characters, etc)! Crossing fingers

Go for a Customer Care Center (AKA, Hub) over the UPS Store if you can.
 
I really hope it gets to more people faster and earlier. Not because I want the OCD launch day rat racers to finally shut up about it. They are probably thinking it better arrive not a millisecond after Nov 3rd / noon or their tears will flow.

I just want to see more buyers get it early because I really am curious what they will say about it. I already expect the prisoner of the moment / honeymoon phase comments. That's the typical stuff I hear like if they say it's the most beautiful thing ever, ever, ever. Greatest moment of their lives!

I'm more fascinated with any potential flaws from it. And they will come out over time. Nothing is ever flawless. This is a tick model. Freshman class. By knowing its flaws early, we can know there is some room for improvement for its next three successors that will follow its design scheme.

Yes I got my tracking number yesterday morning and yes mine says nov 3 delivery date
 
Has anyone in the UK had their iPhone X dispatched yet?

Mines been in the "Preparing for dispatch" stage since the afternoon of the 27 October.

I'm in the UK and mine is showing delivers 3 November. Mines been in the "Preparing for dispatch" stage since the afternoon of the 27 October.

Good then, same status for Norway for2 different orders.
 
This is stressful. They put a hold on the funds on my CC, but the charge does not show yet in the transactions list.. also, it’s been in the “preparing for shipment” forever. It’s Tuesday, I’m starting to think my order was lost somewhere and I will not get it on the 3rd. I’m going crazy over a phone.

Mines been in the preparing for dispatch stage since the afternoon of the 27 October, and the transaction only showed on my card when I checked my online credit card account today. The transaction was done on the 29th, according to the details on my online credit card account.

If your order is showing delivers 3 November, I'm confident you will have it on that date. Apple are really good with their delivery dates and I have never not received my order on the date stated :)

Thank you! I’ll try to sit back and relax, it’s “just a phone” lol, worst case scenario I’ll get it a week later. But yeah, it shows “delivers nov 3”.

If your order shows delivery Nov 3rd and not Nov 3-10 for example, you'll get your order.
Checked my account and nothings been taken yet but I cant see pending translations so it might just be holding.

Edit:
Scrape that noticed the available balance is different so there is £1,149 pending which would be the phone.

Yeah my balance reflect the price of the phone, but it’s not showing on my statement. I figured they just pre approved when I ordered and they would charge it when they ship.. oh well. I shall see on Friday.

I think we are all in the same boat haha. Mine got billed on the 27th.

I remember a article with various phones that were dispatched before pre-orders were open, so I wonder if those are phones that will be distributed from regional warehouses instead from China. If yes it means that it only takes 1-2 days to arrive depending on the city. We will know once we get our shipping details :)

Funny, I bought on the same order a case, and it has already been shipped (got the details on Saturday) on the free slow delivery method though.
 
Still no shipment notification or tracking number from Apple as of Tuesday morning. UPS My Choice showing no movement since October 29th when it arrived in ZhengZhou, China. I ordered an X folio case from Apple & just got the shipment info late yesterday evening - it arrives tomorrow. Phone won't arrive till 11/3.

same here. both cases I ordered arrive tomorrow and phone comes on the 3rd. My tracking shows it departed china on the 29th

At least your phone left China - mine has been taken hostage! Apple says I'll get delivery on the 3rd as well.

How did you check the tracking? I tried with my phone # via reference and it didn’t work. My 256GB is scheduled for Nov 3.
 
Now I am pissed - I was in a chat with UPS about the shipping delay and this is what I was told:

I have checked your tracking information, our records show that the package was under a security hold in the origin country, which caused a delay on the package, however it seems that it was released and the package should be in transit to the destination country. Our records shows an scheduled delivery date for 11/03/17 by the end of day, pending normal customs clearance. I'd recommend to keep on tracking the package to verify the updates, you can request for it at UPS.com on the tracking page by clicking on the"Notify me with updates" button. I apologize for the delay of your package.

So is it really a "customs" delay with millions of iPhones moving through shipment - or is it a hold by Apple so phones won't arrive until Nov. 3rd?

When I asked what time the package departed, I was told that they did not have access to that information. Really tired of both UPS & Apple when it comes to shipping information being delayed so much. FedEx doesn't pull this crap.

My iPhone is also trapped in China. As of now, it hasn’t been scanned departure.

I called UPS this morning and they were less than helpful. I’ll try Apple.
