I called UPS this morning and they were less than helpful. I’ll try Apple.

Update : I contacted Apple as my IPhone is still in China according to UPS.

Here’s their response “I see that this order is on the expedited shipping and we still have the commit delivery date here as November 3rd”

Not much help. Btw - this is Silver, Verizon, 64, IUP ordered through the App Store.

Oh, that’s new to your order? I saw that check-in window since I ordered on Friday. So sadly nothing updated for me... Its still “Order in Progress” for store pickup

All my buds think I’m crazy cuz I’m constantly checking my phone for updates status from Apple and flights it’s on. Just glad to know it’ll be in the states in the morning when I wake up. Few more days and it’ll be in our hands making our friends jealous who weren’t able to get theirs. Weird tho cuz my buddy ordered his 30 seconds after me and his doesn’t come til 17-24th. He has T-Mobile and I have AT&T. Did AT&T and Verizon get priority?

The phones never left the plane. Anchorage was just a fuel point and to drop packages off for anyone in Alaska or Canadian region. Our arrival check in will be updated once it lands in Kentucky and all the boxes get unloaded to be sourced out and put on trucks or other planes to the regions. I’ve seen this happen and heard of it by people that work at FedEx. If packages don’t get off, they won’t scan the masses for each saying they’ve arrived on a layover point.
