First iPhone X Orders Begin Shipping Out to Customers

They'll either go out tonight or tomorrow. Far easier to keep control and containment on them when they're all together at a central staging location than it would be to start delivering them to various depots around the country.

The amount of angst in this thread is beyond my comprehension. It's fun to track the location, but I can't believe people are actually concerned about the delivery date. If it says Friday, it will be delivered on Friday.

When I was talking with UPS, the woman said they usually can’t change for pick up unless a delivery attempt has been made or it’s at the destination center. But wouldn’t make sense from what people have been saying. She acted like it was already in my state from her wording and attitude but then I asked last location checked in and she just said “what shows on the site says Alaska”. We are all so anxious but in less then 2 days we will be too busy with our new phones to even remember about our worrisome

My departure from Alaska didn’t come until the flight touched down in Louisville. Way after it took off so don’t worry too much about it yet.

When I log into my UPS account my package shows but it says "Date Tentative"...just letting the people with UPS MyChoice accounts knows what I'm seeing.

I agree with you! I love the fun of tracking a package! But when it comes to calling the companies and asking them "WHERE IS THE BOX?!" is way too much.

I ordered through Apple and still says 'Preparing Shipment'. With a Nov 3 delivery date. Anyone else?

Yea user your order number as a reference without the last 2 digits. Best if you sign up for the ups account and do it all that way. It uses your address and not just a reference code. But def late to the game for tracking number. Ha. Jk.
 
So this just happened recently. My stuff from UPS has Exception next to it. Not sure if it’s cuz I changed it to pick up instead of delivery or what.

Apple says “preparing for shipment” but, I was able to get tracking data from UPS myChoice. It’s a free service that tells you what packages have been shipped to your address. (Sorry if this has been mentioned, just trying to help) My order was from the App Store delivery 11/3

You’re right, it could be innocent and regarding the change to pick up.
 
I hope so. Cuz that’s gonna be an awkward conversation with the boss cuz I switched shifts Friday and now don’t want to lose hours for nothing. I guess I’ll call tomorrow if no progress happens by evening to Apple order status or UPS. Anyone else change theirs to pick up from delivery and got this?

Found this on another thread. So yea it’s innocent luckily. Just gotta wait on Friday morning when it says ready for pick up. Hopefully it shows early cuz I live hour and 40 minutes from the hub.

Still no update on sprint tracking, I spoke with a rep and they told me their first shipments are not scheduled to ship UNTIL 11/03. Will be switching carriers before next year.

Me too my friend. London store pickup. App still says for collection tomorrow so not worried.
Like I said in a post before, the phones are more than likely in the store already and the status will just change to pickup ready tomorrow.
 
Received shipment notification from Apple at 238 AM.

Interestingly enough, under shipment progress this is where Apple said the iPX is:

Anchorage, AK, United States 10/31/2017 4:30 P.M. Departure Scan

Been out of Alaska for quite a while! Just happy it is showing shipped.
