I think I messed up. I accidentally changed my shipping address to the UPS store but I want to change it back to my house. The date moved from 9/21 to 9/24. No biggie but smh
I wanted to do that as well but before confirming the change I saw a change of date to the 24th and cancel the change. I’m going to call UPS tomorrow morning and ask them about it.

Since my watch will be pick up at store on 9/21 when will it change from “processing order” my cc has already been charged.

Nice! Still not showing up on my UPS. Do they typically wait until the charge is posted to ship? My charge for the tax is still pending and I haven’t been charged for the first installment yet.

You posted this at the right time lol! I was about to freak out when I noticed that mine hasn’t been shipped out yet.

Based on my past experience of this week (the four business days before the Friday delivery), I'm thinking you might be freaking out the next couple days when there is no more movement of your new device. I'm guessing you think they are going to be shipping out in the next few hours.

In recent years my family's new iPhones sat at least several days after showing up in Shanghai on the UPS site before finally leaving China, seemingly so late that there was no way they could possibly make it on time for a Friday delivery to my house.

Before finally realizing Apple was a better seller of iPhones than ATT, after my order was canceled for no apparent or reported reason by ATT several days after the pre-orders, I got my phones shipping info from ATT late in the week and saw them delivered from California or Texas.

The first few years with Apple I was definitely concerned that there was something wrong when UPS My Choice showed my delivery several days before they got possession of them, then they sat for days after that initial report. Finally they moved and landed in Anchorage on their way to finally arrive into Louisville sometime after midnight on Friday. Soon after that they were on plane to the local UPS airport, and then on the truck to my house on Friday morning for an afternoon delivery.

All that excitement and then the real excitement of opening the box and setting up the new phone!

Hope that gives you a bit more ease over the next few days. It is an amazing performance!

Anyone know what the caution sign means? Even I have it and bit confused.

It's means the delivery date is tentative, but don't be alarmed that's only because it's still in another country. You'll see that shore up more once it hits the US. :)

You'll probably see it arrive close to your home by Thursday morning and maybe in your hometown by that day, but UPS will hold them and not deliver until Friday per Apple's instructions.

Now you have got me worried because my iPhone is coming from AT&T itself and not Apple.

The UPS web site report for my devices says Scheduled Delivery: Friday, 9/21. That's the Friday part of the calendar you see.

In UPS My Choice, the exclamation point is followed by this:

09/21/2018
(Updated)
(Tentative)
Estimated

Seems they have a pretty good idea, but can't commit to a firm date. UPS must be run by men. ::grin::

I think that's what they say unless you have a special type of shipping with a 2 hour delivery window, they give the delivery the "tentative" tag.

I'm pretty sure you'll get it on Friday unless there's another Typhoon blowing into the Chinese airports.

Good luck! Enjoy the September Christmas you appear to have scheduled for Friday.

Now you have got me worried because my iPhone is coming from AT&T itself and not Apple.

I ordered ATT phones from ATT.com in the past (so my info about ATT shipments is from maybe 5 years ago), and then in recent years I ordered ATT iPhones directly from Apple. My experience was that ATT.com phones shipped to me from the US after they got them from Apple. ATT phones ordered on Apple came to me from China.

This year I'm on T-Mobile and ordered through Apple. My phone is coming from China.

It depends upon what web site you used to order.

Nope still preparing for shipment. But I already got charged today so that makes sense.

Has anyone been able to pickup at ups cc on Friday? I try two different hubs and they both say delivery will be for next Monday. Including the hub where my stuff always goes to.

Ups CC you will be able to. At a hub, no.

I’ll wait until they are available for pickup at the Apple Store.

Shouldn't take long. ;)

You are not the only one. UPS is the Microsoft of delivery companies.

Right? UPS, by far, has to be one of the worst companies in existence. There have been so many instances of packages left (thrown) at our door only to find they're badly damaged or soaked by the falling rain. Now, perhaps it's the delivery man's fault rather than the company, but surely there can't be great management and company expectations in place if this type of behavior is running rampant.

I always feel a nagging sense of dread each time I learn they will be in control of my shipments.

Forgot to come here first. I decided on a whim to track by reference and voila! My phone is in Shanghai, then come here, and notice everyone is already on the ball. As usual, I changed it and scheduled pickup at my UPS Facility friday morning.

This is my xmax case... Milano-Germany-Geneva... To be delivered close to Bern... Such amount of travel.... Wondering how that looks for the iPhone... (Milano Bern is 3h30 mins by train)
