Audiophiles wouldn't touch Beats Bluetooth headphones with a 10ft pole...

Yet plenty do. May not be their first choice, and certainly not their only choice, but most all self confessed audiophile people I know have a Bluetooth set of headphones, and many are quite happy with the other recent beats Bluetooth ones. Expensive? Yes. Perfect? No. But plenty of audiophile friends of mine say they are the best sounding wireless noise cancelling cans on the market.

The most annoying part about my Beats Studio (v2) Wireless is the fact that I have to use Micro-USB for charging instead of Lightning. I hope Apple will toss a Lightning port on these as I've got Lightning cables lined up all-round my apartment but no Micro-USB. Having to put up one extra just for the sake of my girlfriend and I using Beats Studio Wireless with our iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

In terms of overall looks, feel, ergonomics and audio quality the Beats Studio (v2) Wireless is quite good. The audio quality is not on pair with my high-end Westone 4R IEM's but they are quite good. The noise cancellation is good.

Seriously, it should be called McBeats. The fast food version of sound.

Apple does seem to be trying very hard to go after that demographic.

They're "cool" ya know. Hm.. just who is the gold watch really aimed at? Dre be Dre! my homie!!!

luvin it lol luvin

Nothing like high gloss red to look totally cheap.

I've never liked Beats, was appalled when Apple bought them, and now even more disappointed that their first revision look like crap. Oh well, another £250 saved from not buying them. I'd rather have Sennheiser.

I'm the same way, I've never liked earbuds. I took a shot on the Powerbeats 2 though, and they have been comfortable and solid. I was surprised how they managed to have a decent amount of bass/full sound come out of the buds, even without a tight seal.

I'll have to try those and see how they feel. Thanks for the heads up.

I returned the Studio wireless yesterday because I found the bass (although better than previous models) boomy and the mid-range very, very weak. Now using the new Bose SoundLink on-ear and the audio quality is Much better.

I wear them at the gym all day. Actually the bigger ones to be exact. My ear is a odd shape and buds tend to fall out when I'm running 6.5 miles everyday after work. The beats are more comfortable and don't fall off. That's just my experience.

Are you not worried about sweat ruining the headphones?

No,not at all. My biggest concern was comfort. I needed something that felt good and stayed on my head while I ran 6.5 miles a day. I do that everyday 5 days a week. So for me it was all about comfort. I'll be honest though,I have replaced the leather parts that cover your ear last month. Those started peeling, but I bought mine back in 2010. I'm due for a new pair anyways. The very top part that's sits on your head, the leather has started peeling there too. But hey,I've almost had them 5 years.....

May God bless the self-proclaimed "golden ears." They know not what jerks they are. However these types of threads are entertaining to read.

Seems to me only the right person can wear Beats headphones..
posers..

No matter how you dress em up, Beats reputation is all about being a flash git not cool..but then I suppose it takes all sorts.

why oh why did the Apple top brass buy this over hyped crap it's everything Apple products aren't - a hyped up plastic product claiming to be premier goods. Maybe they are learning from Samsung! Or maybe it's the guy that thought putting the U2 album in everyones account was a good idea..:)

Try ear the ear hooks if you haven't already.

A cap does the same thing.

If you always cover/heat your head all the time, your body will think "I don't need hair over there". It doesn't seem to work everywhere on your body though :D

At 65, and being a prime demographic for skin cancer, I've rarely left the house without a hat on my head. I have a full head of hair. Except for rare occasions the cause of hair loss is mainly genetic.
