Reminds me of this:

Mark of the beast. Probably did it in honor of Steve. :p

My thick boi 14" Pro just arrived, first thing I did was fired up some HDR video and the display is amazing. Really happy with the size as well, it's just a little bigger than my old 13" M1 Air. The keyboard is very nice and already don't notice the notch.

Time to put it through it's paces some more in the coming days!
Thanks for this! My 14" is replacing the same model as yours. I will miss the old girl, she was a good sidekick. I'll miss the lightness of it, but I'm ready for the power!

Can post a picture showing laptops upside down, comparing there thickness. The feet on the new MacBook Pro are taller and that can give the impression the laptop is that much thicker then it really is. By the way, congrats on your new MacBook Pro.
Sure no problem. Here are a couple pics.

Definitely looking forward to using this laptop and comparing it with my old 2019 MBP. Still updating software and getting the basics installed . ?

Apple is selling stock configurations of the new machines in its retail stores, and there are also some higher-end BTO configurations that may be available depending on the store. Most people who want a custom configured machine will need to order online and wait, however.
Guess we find out what the stores carry.

The fullscreen behavior on the new MBP is much nicer than how Apple was handling it before!

I always hated when my cursor got too close to the top of the screen it would constantly shift up and down to show the menubar.

I think this improved full screen mode. You have a lot less jumping around than before when the menu had to appear over the app. It’s also better for people who get to full screen by accident by clicking the green window icon. They often don’t know what happened and how to get things back. This way they can easily find the menu and either switch to windowed mode or at least exit the app.

Not loving the sheen in the aluminum on the new MacBook Pros. Matte is far more refined and is also less prone to fingerprints. Hope it’s not as satiny looking in person. Maybe it’s just the curves and lighting.

Can’t wait to see an option to revert to full menu bar and leave notch to be nearly completely invisible all the time.

Do people find the massive trackpads useful? To me, it looks too big!
I do!

For example, today I wanted to drag an image from Safari to Keynote I had in another space. I held down the image on the trackpad with one finger, and then swiped left with my other hand with 4 fingers... and then dropped the image. It was pretty intuitive.
