Soon to be announced, the new MacBook Pro roller bag (I know somebody already made this joke, but mine is funnier).
Seriously. Now more than ever, there is a low-power big-screen hole in Apple's lineup. Give me an M1, magsafe, and 15 or 16" screen and I'll buy it at MSRP yesterday.I would give my left kidney for 15/16" Macbook Air![]()
It’s a Mac Pro case I would say.Soon to be announced, the new MacBook Pro roller bag (I know somebody already made this joke, but mine is funnier).View attachment 1879203
Personally I would like to have the menu bar always active, also in full-screen mode. Is that an option maybe?
And if can anyone answer this, while using Safari, do you have to employ dark mode or do you only need a black wallpaper to hide the notch? Or is there a separate process in System Preferences that allows you to turn the menu bar black to hide the notch?
Oof. Chonky. Even not taken at a proper right angle that photo shows some serious Thicc going on. It's sexy but I'll stick with my MBA.Sure no problem. Here are a couple pics.
Definitely looking forward to using this laptop and comparing it with my old 2019 MBP. Still updating software and getting the basics installed . ?
Trust me the thickness is really not a problem. The weight it definitely is. I can't imagine anyone carrying this around an office or soOof. Chonky. Even not taken at a proper right angle that photo shows some serious Thicc going on. It's sexy but I'll stick with my MBA.
My thick boi 14" Pro just arrived, first thing I did was fired up some HDR video and the display is amazing. Really happy with the size as well, it's just a little bigger than my old 13" M1 Air. The keyboard is very nice and already don't notice the notch.
Time to put it through it's paces some more in the coming days!
I have not managed to do anything that gets the fan going to an audible level yet, I will keep trying!Any fan noise that you've noticed so far? That's the problem with my 2019 16". If I do a Quicktime screen recording, the fan kicks on and gets into my microphone.
Personally I like it more visually but you are right it is less functionalNobody complaining about the keyboard? The keys are ok, but come on, why on Gods green earth would you make the area surrounding the black keys black? In a dimly lit room, you only see the lit up text.
If the backlight times out, you're really just making a stab in the dark to hit a key. Not great if you want to quickly hit mute, there's no way to hit the right key at first try.
