Ohh.... this film is way better, trust me.

there is a joke I was reading the other day between Batman and Superman. Superman was telling Batman: I have laser beans in my eyes, I am stronger, I can fly at the speed of light.

I would hate to have beans in my eyes.

Very interesting!!! AS mentioned above the trailer looks good - i'll be sure to check it out..

Looks like a great movie! Possibly tear jerking too. Can't wait to see it. Any idea of release date for UK?

It looks like a pretty good flick. I just wish they chose a different actor with more charisma for Jobs (and Woz also). Robert Downey Dr. makes a good Larry Ellison (Iron Man), but Ashton Kutcher can't portray the the wit and quickness of Jobs.

Just because you say that Apple ripped off Xerox doesn't make it true. Anyone familiar with the story knows that Apple was GIVEN access to the facility. More importantly, Xerox made a conscious decision NOT to do anything with GUI. Finally, Xerox only had "ideas" which were in a very very raw format. Under Jobs' direction, Apple employees literally spent years making it work.

Comparing Apple's use of Xerox's ideas / facility to the blatent theft by Windows of the things that Apple developed is like saying that Henry Ford stole the idea for the automobile because he used wheels which were around for thousands of years. My point is that "new ideas" are obviously built upon older ideas. The difference between "stealing" an idea versus building upon existing knowledge has more to do with whether anyone was ever planning to actually create something. Xerox decided not to and Apple was GIVEN an opportunity by Xerox to make it happen. With Windows, Microsoft actually just copied what Apple did---and they did a pretty terrible job of copying them BTW.

I think the best depiction of Jobs could only be achieved through a 10 episode HBO series. A movie is too short and means they have to cram too much drama to make it interesting. Not enough time to develop characters.

it's hard to watch the trailer without thinking of Kelso from 70's show or the idiot from dude, where's my car.
Pirates of Silicon Valley does it better.

You are right it's a movie where they should be making a FILM. What kind of editing this is? and music? what the ****?

Starts like a ****ing road trip movie. Forced acting.

This movie looks terrible. It feels like they're just trying to make some money off of apple's success instead of make a good movie. Based on true story is just Hollywood BS at this point.

Honestly the movie looks a million times better than I could've ever imagined it but, no, sorry. Ashton Kutcher? uh-ugh! Especially not right before watching the real Steve Jobs movie that's coming out later. Do yourself a favor and pass.
