Yeah, the trailer looks much more promising than the previous materials we've seen so far. But the big question is: is it only because the good scene transitions, or the movie is actually good.

Anyway, watching this made me a little sad again. I miss Steve, and it's a shame we will not be able to see what he could've done with Apple in the next 10-20 years if he was alive... :(

Honestly the movie looks a million times better than I could've ever imagined it but, no, sorry. Ashton Kutcher? uh-ugh! Especially not right before watching the real Steve Jobs movie that's coming out later. Do yourself a favor and pass.

Any actors you would have preferred?

now that's more like it, the real genius of our times deserves a great bio-flick!

I actually have hope for this film again.

After that 1 minute monstrosity they released back in January I was expecting a pile of donkey **** to be honest. This looks pretty good.

I have a bad feeling about this...

There were times when I saw Steve, but even more times when I just saw Kutcher trying to be Steve.

It's so hard to take the Kelso out of the role.

Steve was shown what Xerox was doing in their labs, he didn't go there at night and steal it. It was a deal between two companies.

Sorry, I should have said 'copied', rather than 'stole'. I just fear the film will make out that he had an epiphany and invented the mouse or the smartphone or something....

It's based on Steve's life, so you are saying he did every cliche in the book during his life?

No - but I want to actually see something more about Steve's life - not just the headline bits portrayed in a cliched way.

This is emotions for children:

Shouting in car = angry.

Crying over picture of child = sad.

Rolling round with woman and smiling = happy

I'd hope that Steve's actual life was a bit more subtle and nuanced than that.

it certainly doesn't look anything better than your average summer flick.

Exactly - they're pretty awful, so to be worse than those is pretty poor! I wasn't expecting 3 Colors Blue, but this looks incredibly disappointing.

Of course their will be people who say it looks horrendous and all that. That's just life and how humans are. Just like how some of the most top rated movies ever still have people who critic them to no end saying they're totally wrong.

I myself though will admit I am pleasantly surprised by it. Looks like a pretty good movie about Steve Jobs. I'm not going to go see it expecting it to be 100% accurate nor should anyone. There is no such thing as a 100% accurate movie. Now will there ever be. Lower expectations.

I don't think it looks all that bad. It may not be the most accurate portrayal of emotions and scenarios from Steve's life, but still entertaining nonetheless.

when are Phaser Beam Computers releasing a decent Mac Pro? err sorry... Beam Pro G5?

Was that Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters I saw sitting outside the garage smoking a cigarette?

like saying that Henry Ford stole the idea for the automobile because he used wheels which were around for thousands of years.

I hope that you're joking. I fear that you're not.

If the latter, thank you for beautifully underlining my point about historical revisionism.

And as I said, I shouldn't have used 'stolen' from Xerox. Apologies.

That still does not make this anywhere near a good trailer.
