So... wheres my new MacBook Pro 15"? I'd much rather hear about that than a new iPhone...

Ehh, it's not that bad. The big ol' screen bezels are still there, lack of headphone jack is a bit of a kick to the crown jewels, but I'm sure they'll consider edge-to-edge display next iteration. Remember how salty we all were about...
  • The 4? Ugly antenna bands? Yuck, Apple wouldn't do that. Glass? Shatters too easily if dropped.
  • The 4S? All that wait for essentially the same phone? Of course it proved to be a great performer.
  • The 5 with its flaking edges? Too thin? Too scratchable on the back?
  • The 5S that everybody said was boring and pointless -- now Touch ID is second nature and the 5S is still a great performer with its 64-bit OS.
  • The 6 that you could bend like elastic and its ugly protruding camera? But sold well and got a lot of converts who wanted a bigger screen.
  • The 6S? Ridiculous performance. Desktop class CPU and console level GPU.
I wouldn't be in a rush to buy this. If I wanted to upgrade from my 5S when this is released, I'd get a 6S. But hey, time will tell, is all I'm saying. It's not the end of the world. :)

:eek:Is this a iPhone 6 atleast it looks from front
How many people would know the difference between a Galaxy S6 and S7 just by looking at the front of the phone? That's a really weak trolling argument.

Resist the urge to complete your iPhone collection and wait for 2017. I am not saying Apple will include some great internal improvements, but the spend nearly $1,000 for what is basically iPhone 6SE doesn't seem logical. The iPhone 2017 seems to be where a lot of the innovation will be applied. Sure, if you have a iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5s, this might be a great upgrade.
Or I can buy what I want.

I just want a really new design completely bored off from this iPhone 6 series and this one also seems part of it,i am just so jealous of Galaxy note 7.i have to carry around this phone for one more Year or maybe until they come up with something fresh and innovative (on your trolling request i have removed my comment:) )

If the larger model has a dual camera with better/faster low-light performance, then I will likely upgrade from my 6+. I will resist any attempts to talk me out of it. I will resist such attempts strongly.

With all the image leaks about the next phone, interesting/disappointing to not see any for Watch 2.

I like the feel of my 6s. It fits nice in my hand and it is easy to handle. Given that, i see no reason that it needs to become a square or circle or something else. The form factor is fine. Not thinner, not thicker.

What I am hoping for is faster CPU/GPU/LTE/WiFi, better camera, more screen, less bezel. Maybe even more sapphire. And yes a dark blue would be awesome. The rest to me is about the OS and the Apps. Not sure why so many require/demand the form to change drastically.

I felt like a made a huge mistake when i switch to Android. I been wanting to switch back more and more, then i saw the Swinesung Note7 and its killing me that Apple just does not push its limit anymore i kind of want the note 7. But i will hold of until Apples Keynote.

This is the first new iPhone cycle that I am disappointed. Besides the fact that we get a three year old design, I don't like the camera bump being made out of Aluminum. The 6 and 6S have that metallic piece around the camera that is hard to scratch, now that it is made out of Aluminum, I don't want to imagine how easily it will scratched.

I'm surprised that nobody in this thread, or the "powered on prototype" thread called out the software. That does not look like iOS. I would guess that this is a counterfeit lookalike.

Great, absolutely no reason to upgrade from 6S (I guess even from the 6 if you're casual user). It's still very fast, camera is good enough. Still the same 3 year old design which for many users is one of the main reasons to upgrade, myself included. Apple began to care about our wallets, haven't they?

Does it matter at this point. This is what the phone will look like.

Clearly and obviously not an Iphone, its a droid wanna be knock off. Just look at the menu system when he/she shows the "camera roll" and also since when did the button change to take a picture to "Ok". I have ran the new IOS10 and none of those features or looks are correct.

I can't work out if this is blatant trolling or a real concern?
