Dunno how many threads, puns, requests, it took to get cut/paste 3,5,7 years ago but can we have a customizable control center and lockscreen sleep time ?
(if it fits the timetables, assignments, budgets)

This I wish for this year (A repeat since Steve Jobs gave up on Apple)
• Focus on the Pro Community
• Bring back Aperture for Photographers with some much needed love and attention
• Bring back serious Video Editing (a rebirth would be nice)
• Bring back Pro Solution Computers
• New Line of : MacPro, MacMini, iMac
• New line of MacPro, MacMini Pro, iMac Pro
• New Note Book lowest price for Education
• A stronger, more open and serious MacOS, and iOS.

(EDITED: I had to add DARK mode in iOS 11 because this I have actually needed for a while..)
Every year I've wished for this... and every year I won't get the above mentioned in anyway.

Instead of focus on colours and thinness over usefulness, maybe we'd have a little bit of Apple back from the Golden Age of what it used to be... I'm not holding my breath though. My wish is almost a decade old, I don't think much will change
towards what Apple once was.

But I know Tim Cook will be President one day... We got Trump, why wouldn't this happen when clearly Tim working his way up the food chain.

Is there anything you would like Apple to do differently? Or something you've missed? What are YOU excited about and why?

Stopped reading after I read "since Steve Jobs gave up on Apple"...

Except for the ones wearing them.
(They are just super little )

Curious. Where did you find this detail? That same guy on the WWDC page is decidedly NOT wearing a watch.

Last minute leak - iOS 11 insider peek here!

G2x6.jpg

if this is the new iOS kill me.

I've had enough when the biggest feature of iOS 10 was "bigger emojis" when I don't even use messages.

I still haven't used a single big feature of iOS 10, getting a Uber by touching is much better than yelling at Siri.

"The artwork was created by Los Angeles artist Geoff McFettridge "

Geoff Mcfettridge needs a new line of work. The building looks like hell. It looks like someone covered the wall with dollarama stickers.

I don't understand.

Apple's Mac business is well in excess of eighteen billion annually - at least that is the last I've heard. It's been a while, so it could be even more. Yes, by comparison to the rest of Apple, that is a relatively small percentage of annual sales. But when compared to broader markets, the Mac business is a Fortune 500 company on its own. It's not only a sustainable business, it's a massive business.

Apple has enough resources and talent to run the Mac business with a fierce attention to the entire Mac line. The Mac Pro and the iMac should be updated every single year. Even the laptops have been somewhat disappointing. Apple doesn't have to choose between the iPhone or the iMac. It makes no sense. Even if the internal analysis shows that desktops and traditional laptops are on their way out as mainstream consumer products, they are a multibillion dollar industry today. Plan for tomorrow but stay in the game today. Plus, consumer preferences change all the time.

And yet again, there is no indication that Apple will announce anything about the desktop.

Why am I not excited at all... I think WWDC is used as a level setter, and then, in Sept/Oct, any announcement gives us bonus joy, making it look larger than what it should be...
[doublepost=1496417571][/doublepost]iOS should be more intelligently designed to allow multiple work spaces. Increase default icloud storage please! better macbooks with more usb c and mag safe..
seriously surface pro looks really good.

hey finally, something about computers and not stupid politics!

I want to know what the guy in the light orange is holding. It looks like a book, but why a book? Doesn't look like a notebook because there's no darker keyboard. Wouldn't it be cool to be a folded tablet?

eh, i don't read too much into that...there is also someone riding a bike.

WWDC is mostly about software. Also it's only June. Not like new desktops can't come this fall.

I thought that being able to verbally abuse Siri to fetch you a car was one of the top iOS 10 features :D

Can't believe there haven't been any leaks of what iOS 11 looks like. Maybe they won't announce iOS 11 this week after all.

If rumors are true, you'll likely get everything you want except customizable control center.
Funny enough I think that would be the easiest thing to make on this list, lol. Sometimes the smaller things don't end up in the rumors because there are less people working on and testing them. Hopefully we still see it as I'd love to move things like AirPlay Mirroring, AirDrop, and Nightshift onto the second screen and have at least audio input controls added to the first screen—maybe even music controls if it will fit. I'm always having to send my AirPod connection between different devices, so it gets annoying. I'd also like some access to other settings like turning on hotspot instead of airplane mode or a VPN toggle instead of bluetooth (I always have BT on because Apple Watch and AirPods) so I can remote into my dev server at work to test something on mobile.

I also think it would be cool if third party apps had an API to provide an icon to jump into a specific section of their app. For instance, Twitter could have a New Tweet button that you could add to the bottom of Control Center. Or built-in apps like Reminders could have a button to add a new reminder. These sort of quick actions could be easily accessible from the bottom of the Control Center. Apps could have several actions to choose from. I imagine they might be set with a sort of app slider like you have for multitasking on the iPad, and if an app doesn't have multiple options, it defaults to just opening the app. It would be really nice to be able to replace the stock Calculator app with Calcbot which is much better.

I still want mouse and track pad support built into the keyboard for IPAD PRO

I also would like a Mac book that runs IOS same mouse and trackpad support as above.
[doublepost=1496369641][/doublepost]I still think Apple doesn't want to add touch support to MAC because it is a cost issue not a usability problem.
I for one want a touch screen and pen support. The iPad Pro is close and I use mine all the time but is still missing key features. In the mean time I have ordered a Surface laptop. Yes its crazy expensive and yes its not perfect but is the closest to what I want in a laptop computer.

I think apple is waiting for IOS to mature and for arm processors to have the power needed so the wait for my touch screen laptop from Apple will continue until that happens :(

LOL, I do like the stickers but when are they going to add sound support to them?
Have you ever used a mouse with iOS? I have. At one point I had jailbroken my iPad and used a bluetooth mouse. It is not great. That being said, have you listened to one of the recent episodes of John Gruber's (Daring Fireball guy) podcast called The Talk Show? He lays out a good case for having a touchpad-like surface on the iPad Pro keyboard for moving the text cursor around and for other things such as gestures or scrolling websites. I think there is tremendous opportunity there for all kinds of gestures within apps to select focus of the URL bar and other things that make using the keyboard with the iPad so tedious. He also points to the same sort of UI control API that Apple TV uses to select icons on the display as being something they could put into the trackpad so that it's sort of like a bigger, better version of the Apple TV remote, and how you could use a control like that to move things back and forth between split screen apps. Pretty neat idea. I had thought of the cursor and gesture thing before but didn't consider how they could leverage something like that on iOS and not just tvOS.

Pretty obvious what they will announce:

1. Core i9 Mac Pro
2. Macbook Pro with 32GB or 64GB or RAM
3. Mouse support for iPad
4. Touch screen Macbooks
5. 3.5mm headphone jack returning to iPhone

Predictions to inauguration of the Steve Jobs Theater to be this Summer. So most likely when Apple release the Iphone in September and iMacs October and November.
So for the 10th iPhone anniversary model? Nice
