"Decorations"? What is this, a 10 year old's My Little Pony birthday party?

Branding, event signage, graphics - something along those lines would have been the correct word choice!

Wish List for new/updated hardware products announced at WWDC on June 5th:

1.) 10.5" slim-bezel iPad with 2732x2048 resolution at 326 PPI AND 3GB of DRAM ... + wide color capture & display, of course.

2.) Next-Gen Apple TV with 4K UHD capability, AND with AirDrop receive support ... tvOS is similar to iOS at the lower levels, and already supports wide color display.

3.) Updated iPhone SE with 3GB of DRAM ... + wide color capture & display (current SE doesn't support either).

The "theme" could & should be "Wide Color Capture & Display is now Ready to Become Pervasive !"

Hopefully Apple will release an update to Apple Music so we can view it in landscape mode. Improvements with Siri might be helpful. Let us choose our default maps.

Hmm...I wonder how clued in this guy is...I hope he's right.

Friday before WWDC, two whole years after the last iPad-focused features. This year, I’m told, is an iPad year—let’s see how that holds up

I can't wait! My quick list of wants:
  • Advancements for iPad Pro operating system
  • Massive improvements for Siri, including more data sources and contextual queries
  • New iPad Pro and Siri Speaker hardware
  • Dark mode
  • Customizable control center

I still want mouse and track pad support built into the keyboard for IPAD PRO

I also would like a Mac book that runs IOS same mouse and trackpad support as above.
[doublepost=1496369641][/doublepost]I still think Apple doesn't want to add touch support to MAC because it is a cost issue not a usability problem.
I for one want a touch screen and pen support. The iPad Pro is close and I use mine all the time but is still missing key features. In the mean time I have ordered a Surface laptop. Yes its crazy expensive and yes its not perfect but is the closest to what I want in a laptop computer.

I think apple is waiting for IOS to mature and for arm processors to have the power needed so the wait for my touch screen laptop from Apple will continue until that happens :(

I hope the priority is put back on emojis and stickers.

LOL, I do like the stickers but when are they going to add sound support to them?

Prediction: No "Planet of Apps" mention - I'm guessing that didn't go well.

It will be a week of "Carpool Karaoke", and the sycophants in attendance will lap it up.

I won't be there....

Just out of random curiosity, is anyone contemplating switching to Android if iOS 11 underwhelms on Monday?

Even if it was "Underwhelming", sacrificing Apples ecosystem, security and the fluidity of iOS for Android ? No, I wouldn't consider it at all.

I don't really care much about iOS or android. I use iPhones because I use macs and I like the integration (I much prefer text messaging over the mac message app for example).

It's been a few years since Apple has sold a worthwhile mac and I'm way overdue for an upgrade. So if they release decent macs, then my next phone will be an iPhone regardless of iOS 11 and if they don't release decent macs, my next phone will be android regardless of iOS 11.

Also, much more interested to hear about MacOS than iOS.

I was thinking about this very thing! In the decorations, I see what looks like people getting together in groups, which could mean that this year's WWDC will focus on social interactions and how people can use Apple technology to share with one another. I hope it means that networking will be a major theme throughout Apple's hardware and software offerings, particilarly in the enterprise space, which Apple has ignored for far too long. What do you see in the decorations, imran? :)
A lot of confused apple users wandering arround

That's your point of view, thank you for the input though. Do not force it on others, thanks!

And to your iPhone OS comment, yes it is called the iPhone OS but the iPads version is very much similiar to an iPod Touches OS. they're slimmed down exactly the same except for some iPad specific features ,etc. I also doubt his comment had any intention of referring to when the iPod released either. But I could, of course, be wrong as I'm not him.
No, the iPad version of iOS is slimmed down even worse than the iPod touch was. The iPod touch at least had all apps except for the Phone app xD And by the way I'm not forcing my opinion on anybody. I was just expressing my opinion. Is that a crime? Lol.

Heck no. I plan on staying even if iOS 11 isn't that huge of a release (but it probably will be a pretty big release). I was on the Android ship for 3 years. I jumped off that ship for a reason.

I'm hoping we hear some news on the Mac Pro.
We probably will but we most likely won't see anything until 2018 regarding it. Apple has actually stated tho that the next Mac Pro will most likely be modular and easier to manage/upgrade than the trashcan was.

Can't wait for the "11" banner! Though last year there wasn't a "10" one.
Maybe it won't be called iOS 11 and maybe they will call it something else and combine MacOS and iOS and TVOS and watchOS to make AppleOS.

But not one of them is wearing an Apple Watch.

I found 7 Apple Watches

I like this one... better than all the other WWDC decorations.

That's like trying to jeopardize a herd

What's a book? And what is the battery life?

o_O
Laughing my ass off.

They will be announcing their own "social network". That is the hidden meaning of the graphics.
Didn't they try that already?
[doublepost=1496392279][/doublepost]
All these posters that say they won't be watching will actually be watching. Trust me.
I trust you.
Will be watching.

You forgot the watch bands.
Shame on you.

Id be happy if we are shown the Siri speaker and a new mac keyboard, preferably backlit with a touch bar :)

Other than that, new Mac stuff is cool but my current 27" iMac is going strong!

When is the 1st keynote on Apple Park?

Predictions to inauguration of the Steve Jobs Theater to be this Summer. So most likely when Apple release the Iphone in September and iMacs October and November.
